A smile in my heart and soul
Caring about someone else more then you care about yourself
Not remembering what life was like before you met and not picturing your future without them
Just a glance where you can see the love in eachothers eyes
When you can do or say ANYTHING and not feel you are being judged
When you let your gaurd down and give of yourself completely | |

its making a 49yr old man feel like a teenage school boy again
love is all powerful
if uncontroled it will make you do some very stupid things also

You look up and see him asleep on the couch,hair in his eyes ,your baby is snug in her bed,dang isn't that what it's all about.

Posted: 9/6/2005 6:15:42 PM | What does love feel like to me? Only had the feeling once..the other times it were extreme like or strong attraction.:)
Love is not caring who was right or wrong and automatically seeing and feeling what the other felt and wanting to fix the problem.
Love was taking their hurt and pain and needing to protect them from life.
Love was an overwhelming concern for their thumb when they hurt it to an explosion of panic and scaredness when they almost had an accident.
Love was compromising you ideals, princples, ethics to convince the other person that you had no intention of playing with their feelings.
Love was having your heart jump and sit in your throat at seeing his email and then feeling the excruitating pain when you opened it to read his insults and still....you find reasons, excuses and......maybe he didn't mean it.like the other times he will change his mind.
Love was not remembering how to sleep, eat, breathe when they simply walked away one day claiming they need space to date and be unattached after telling you they were planning their life with you.
Love feels like the scariest risk of all time to try again and yet..... to not to means spending the rest of your life dating players off and on because they are fun, safe and lay the rules of the game up front so that you don't screw up and involve the heart.
What does love feel like? Oh geez the most awesome wonderful gift in the whole world. That is why it is the hardest to find........it doesn't just come it takes conscious thought and decision to make it happen and to work at it and keep it. Gifts have to be treasured..not just used and put on a shelf until they are wanted again. | |

Posted: 10/2/2005 6:59:06 AM | | Thank You "Not High Maintenance". I felt this way 35 years ago and thought I was weird or different. Got married for 28 years and I am finally fixing that mistake. Those feelings have returned and I am still amazed that I survived the first time. Love hurts with an aching pain that only that one special person can make go away. When I am with her the universe spins around us and nothing else matters. I hang on every word she speaks. She told me she missed me for the first time the other day and the world stopped spinning for a moment. The day she says "I love you" will be the day the universe stops and I will be lost forever. She doesn't understand how I can feel this way and it scares me to hang the old heart out there to be ripped from my soul, but I have no choice. I screwed it up the first time and I still think about my first love after all these years. I don't want to mess up a second chance and lose that feeling. To all you young people out there I have only one piece of advice. If you hurt so badly you feel like you will die then it's real....Go for it! | |

Nothing matters except the person you're with. Breathtaking and wonderful. when you can't picture being anywhere doing anything except what you're doing right at that very moment. having that deep connection to another person and knowing that you will support each other in all that you do.
