Very High and Very Low....... Laughter and Tears..... Breathlessness ... Contentment.. Lust.. Anticipation ..... Disappointment.. Patient yet at the same time extreme Impatience.. .
The thrill that tingles to the toes with a look into their eyes even after years together!! Working together to keep it fresh and knowing it will be worth it !

It feels like I'm melting and I'm about to succomb to someone else and then I realize that I need a trip to London. It's like being able to be completely you, crazy ass ways, emotional, hurtful, wonderful, imperfect and yet perfect for what is between you at the moment. It's about intimacy and trust and knowing the other person will hurt you and it's all a risk, but because you have this " feeling" and this enormous respect for what you have at that very moment, you would sacrifice little things to be with them... It's getting mad and making up. It's sharing a life- a real life- not a fairtale or an idea of what you want the relationship to be, but celebrating what it really is... That's love to me. | |

Posted: 12/25/2008 7:38:00 PM | I've been in "love" once in my life. I describe it as a weakening, powerless and embarrassing feeling. I don't have any desire to go through it again.
I think a lot of people put too much priority on being "in love" and too little on just having fun.
(I wasn't referring to the more normal kinds of love, like family love or love between close friends. That kind of love is generally invigorating and satisfying, and the kind I want more of!) | |

Posted: 6/12/2009 10:47:10 PM | Perhaps the most accurate description I've ever heard for 'love' is 'to be one with'.
The person you love usually brings out a side of you you have never known or felt before. If it's a good match between the two of you, what he will bring out is the best in you, and hopefully you also bring out the best in him. So not only do you experience a deep soul-filled bond with him, but you experience an expansion of who you are and what you are.

How can you explain the feeling? I'm not sure I can. I just feel good when I'm in love. I know there's something special, and he makes me feel something that I've never felt before.

I think love is not always what it is cracked up to be. I think love cannot be helped, who you love is beyond your control. Love is more than attraction, its accepting them for all their flaws, and having a deep down respect for what they are passionate about. Sort of like in the notebook when Noah says " So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day". I know it sounds pretty corny or whatever, but its true.
I've only ever felt it once truly, you think you feel it every time, but no... when you feel it you just know. When you love someone you want to see them happy, whether it with you or someone else... as much as it hurts, its the truth. And no matter what the result is in the end you are there for them, no matter what... no matter how much time passes! | |
