I feel it's more masculine. I don't care much for feminine men & that's how long hair comes across to me. Give me a clean cut, manly man.
Besides, I have a ton of hair & that darned bathroom suffers enough for it, as it is!

Posted: 1/2/2007 1:17:47 PM | I had a girl tell me once, "You might be cute if you cut your hair." I told her that I guess I just won't be cute then. I have my long hair for me no one else. It fits my personality. It's not childish or reserved for high school kids or people in bands(though I am in one) like many of the women here have said. It's not a fashion statement that is specific to the 80's either. Men have been wearing long hair as long as there have been men. You're right, the 80's are over...long hair is not. And on the same token, it is now 2007. The whole "all guys should be clean cut mentality" should be way over. I thought that died in the 50's.
I know that women have their preference and they are entitled to it. The concensus seems to be short hair and that is fine. If a girl is turned off by me having long hair it wasn't meant to be in the first place. Trust me ladies, I have seen myself with short hair. It's not pretty. My facial structure lends itself well to long hair, probably due to my indian blood .
Sorry if I seem a little annoyed in this post. Not my intention. I just have to say I was a little apalled at some of the ignorant things that were said about guys with long hair. Not all things were, just a select few I had to put my two cents in on.
So, in summary, I'll choose my hair over a female any day of the week if she has a problem with it. That's the biggest problem I've encountered with my long hair. The girl will like every other thing about me and enjoy my company only to ultimately refuse me in the end because of a physical feature. Lame. SO I'll choose my hair over people like that and at least it weeds out those who are not sincere. Now if you will excuse me ladies, I have to go comb my locks

I've dated lots of guys with shorter hair too but always kind of wanted them to grow it a bit. Never dated a baldy. | |

Generally I prefer short, but long hair on a guy can be nice if its well cut and tidy. However, its been my experience that a lot of guys with long hair seem to do it more out of not wanting to constantly be going barber rather than thinking it actually looks good. ;) | |

Posted: 2/8/2007 4:19:24 PM | Well I'm glad a lot of women still do prefer short hair on men. I recently had my hair cut short after wearing it long for 10 years or so. I much prefer it short and am looking forward to my next trip to the barber's, when I'll have it cut even shorter.
I also think short hair can look very sexy on women. | |

I think women in general prefer men with short hair, its a throw back to their fathers etc (strong man and all that!!)-load of tosh!! Long hair spells Virility and Sensuality!!! | |

I don't like the way it looks. It also tends to show a certain sort of lifestyle I would prefer not to be associated with. Not all men, but quite a few of them.
I prefer bald, short or just past the ears. If a man is lucky, I will accept at the very longest, shoulder length, but I highly doubt it. | |

Whereas I don't like guys with shaved heads to me it just looks creepy and scary cos most guys with shaved heads act like they are so tough well just my opinion everyone's different. Anyway please tell me more about your life in Singapore well what you can remember.
