I got a good job with it, & I suprize alot of people of my whit & smarts. & yes being single I love the attion that I get from the ladies. Like RedHeadedAngel said " Both my x's had to step in on ladies playing with my hair too". I get alot of the women my age that absoulutly love that period of time & memories. I have been acussed of look'in like Greg Alumand. Which is not a bad thing. But i have noticed that the girls of the mothers that like longhair I get alot of compliments from some of the younger crowd. How strange. And also i do get the scared looks, plus I have even had people turn around or cross the street when they see me. I think God made me look like this to protect me from all of the bad things. Because if you ask anybody about me I'm a nice & sincere man. Plus on this last note. I love the exlent pontificating of Mr. Hairtrigger!!! Well thought out with your Pithy comments!! Past my shoulders and still going strong. Honestly, having long hair falling around my shoulders feels cool. Hair length has nothing to do with how intelligent a person is or what kind of job they can have. I've seen lawyers and doctors with long hair (more lawyers) and judges too. Live your life the way you want to and let the fickle women have their short-haired douche bags as I prefer to be a long-haired douche bag.

For instance, two of the people I work with thought I was a pot-head simply because of my hair the first day I started. I'm not. I rarely even imbibe alcohol. I really like having long hair, but it can make other areas of your life more difficult than they would otherwise be; which is incredibly lame.
the giggleparts - I live in a bubble with the one-armed man and the life cereal kid. We formed a band and called ourselves 'Figments of TV's Imagination', but then decided that was too cerebral and changed it to, 'Donkey Punch'. The life cereal kid is a man slut and the one-armed man habitually walks in on me when I take showers... he says that it's on accident... but, I don't believe him. | |

I know bikers, brainiacs, alcoholics, teetotalers, potheads, musicians, nonmusically inclined, inked, uninked, blue collar, white collar, artists, poets, etc... with the only thing in common being their long hair. | |

Posted: 8/26/2007 12:02:05 PM | LONG and CLEAN. The longer, the better. I've always liked longer hair on guys. Of course, I've pretty much always hung out with musicians and other artesans, and this was/is the norm to me. Hair is sexy!! Unless it's grimy and greasy and that is just gross and automatically tells you something about a person!
I'd like to add also, that 'hair' does not make for a lasting relationship, nor a necessary reason to enter 'into' a relationship. It's what's inside a person that means the most. A guy can look like some gorgeous mythical god and still be a real arse!! It's only part of 'my' ideal-perfect-package in a guy.
Believe me when I say that I have known and presently know many long haired guys who make women drool when their eyes get the first glimpse of them with their long tresses...however there is something seriously missing in the space between their ears. That could be anything from lack of intelligence, lack of common sense, crudeness, greed, NARCISSISM....well, you get the idea. Hair does NOT constitute the character of the man, nor the woman....But, oh man, it sure looks good!! | |

For me its ALL about the music and HEAVY METAL and I could care less whether anyone prefers short or long hair. You have to feel the music in your soul to understand the connection to long hair and progressive metal. This is a musical sub-culture that only those into it understand and it has nothing do do with current trends or styles. | |
