I have found her profiles on other dating sites before while we were together and she did the reverse thing on my asking why I was looking lol I replied I was looking for YOU! she was such a looser. But as soon as I start getting serious with someone I will change my status and hopefully they will do the same. And if you meet him on POF chances are that he is meeting lots of others too
and won't stop when he meets you even if you become close.
There must be exceptions to this that we don't hear about though.

With so many singles (or those claiming such) on these types of websites, it's far too easy to keep coming back for the bigger better deal.
If she/he is not perfect, there is the perception that there is another to take his/her place with just the click of a mouse.
Toss in some biological urges and the resulting relationship stew gets rather unpleasant, rather quickly.
Here is what online dating has wrought -
Men have started going from one woman to the next rather quickly (serial monogamy or outright cheating) because there are always women making themselves available online.
Women became shockingly picky because all they have to do is open emails to find yet another guy pitching online woo.
It's not going to change. Once freedom has been granted (personal, sexual, political, economic, whatever), it's staggeringly hard to take away those freedoms. | |

People usually keep their options open when they are having problems within their relationship. Some people seem to think that their relationships are okay and ignore the red flags. It is either or. Take of your relationship, get your head out of the clouds, and watch your back. | |

kissmekindsir: What am I saying? There are those, espeacially males now that would NEVER marry upon American soil as they fear Divorce court and Child support for a good reasons! So one may be more ethical Co-habiting that walking to the altar!
This is SO true! Then again, cohabitation may not be such a great option either, especially if the woman has kids. In some states women have rights to a man's property if she's lived there long enough. And even if the guy can be proven not to be the biological father of her kids, she can still get child support from him, especially if the kids look to him as a 'father figure'.
The North American legal system (in both Canada and the USA) favor women in most cases. In many cases quite unfairly. As someone else put it. The wife can f*** Pedro the pool boy and still get a windfall from divorcing her husband. | |
