yes, a woman, especially one who is pregnant, and who has begun to feel the changes in her body, could change her mind. And that's her right as it's her body.

if you can't handle the prospect of paying child support, then don't engage in practices that could result in a child.... And would help if you actually knew the person you were having sex with, as there's less chances of "surprises"
gosh, it's a touch pill to swallow lads..... You want to be able to have no-strings sex without consequences. You want to make sure that the woman is going to do what you want. And if she gets pregnant, well, she should do what's most convenient for you.
No guarantee that's going to happen.
Used to be women who would be frantically worried about being "caught." In the fifties my aunt was actually sent out of the country to live among strangers and to have her out of wedlock baby, and was not allowed to keep it. Anyway, so now the tables are turned in an unexpected way.... and men face the prospect of being "caught".......caught on the hook for child support

not very nice is it. I am glad things have improve so much I am but there should be way to make the decission between both people. I just don't think it should be up to the woman alone. If it is then the responsibility should be souly on the one that makes the decision. I am not only talking about if a man doent want it and the woman does the man shouldn't have to pay but it the woman doesn't want the kid but the man does the woman shouldn't be alowed to abort in this case the man should be responsible to help pay the womans bills as she won't be able to work then after the baby is born the kid should be his and then there shouldn't be any child support at all. See there are so many changes that need to take place. The decission shouldn't be up to the woman alone. | |

There's no way out of it, if you knock up someone and its proven your DNA, even if you want nothing to do with that child, your gonna pay for the next 18 years -maybe longer.
On the bright side instead of killing him slowly, she could have just given him AIDS and killed him quicker... | |

It is my opinion that you agreed to have sex, not a child... it was an accident.... you asked not to have the child and she decided by herself to have it, so I think she should bear the consequences of of her own decisions... drag you down with her will make yours and the child's life miserable.  | |

It does not hurt to get a paternity test to make sure, and it will be hard but you have to try. I grew up with out a father and it scarred me for life. Kids need both parents in their life. Suicide is not the answer, I have a child that I dont get to see as often as I should due to finances, and I have felt suicidal before but I am telling you, once you see that kid you will fall in love and you will be willing to do whatever you can to make him/her happy. All I get is $600 a month from disabilty so I know how money problems are. Trust me the kid will cheer up your world. | |

That will only be fair when BOTH parties get pregnant.
You just don't get it that women carry the far higher degree of responsibility, that's why they carry the far greater degree of choices
There's no way in hell a man is ever going to have the right to control something he doesn't have to carry the responsibility for
Getting pregnant is a far bigger deal for the woman than the man duh
Pregnancy and chilbearing are womens work - therefore women have more choice
If men got pregnant there's no way in hell women would get any say in the matter and you know it's true
