Posted: 7/26/2006 8:40:50 AM | If you have more then one window open at the same time that can happen. It should show if you close the forum page, ensure that your profile pic is accurate then open a new forum page.
I have had a few problems changing pictures when I have more then one pof window open. I now just hide the pic :D | |

Start with ... I click images... then please try to explain where you are having the problems.
I know my pic is not here, but all my pics are uploaded just fine. I choose not to show them at this time. :D | |

apparently this rule isn't enforced to everyone as in the last 10 minutes I have come across
3 womans profiles that were created within the last 5 or 6 months. One of them had 14 pics and the other two had 10. | |

Re-read message #370 - There is no facility for mailing photos
And as the link that you were referred to also in Message 370 states: Just go to a local copy store, camera store etc.., get your photos scanned and put on a CD for a couple of dollars, then you can upload them.

This thread already has most of the information in it on the common problems people have. Take a few minutes and read the thread, then if that does not help re-post here and let us know where your difficulties lie.
Have you ever had a picture up? Is your picture starting to upload then stopping?
So many things may cause problems, please as much information as you can sort out. Thanks... :) | |

I JUSt want to put a pic up! anD COMMON A FUNNY PIC BEING DELETED from a profile is rather stupid no? This site is suppose to express ourselves ,i choose to do that with humour not my cleavage why penalize me for trying have a sense of humour and display that in my profile? So I learned my lesson no more funny pics but can i at least have my picture privilages back so i can put a pic up? Otherwise i might as well cancel the account , NO pic NO response right POF.

Posted: 8/24/2006 6:32:28 PM | If you read through this thread, it states somewhere that there is a certian amount of sign-ins that one can do to re-instate their photo privaliges. I do not know how many times you have to sign in, but I think repetitivly (sp?) is the basic idea. I'm not totally sure.
The idea of jokes, monkeys, humor as well as issues of expression is also discussed in a thread.

FAQ Cartoons, joke pics, Cats, Monkeys, WEB PICS, etc. ARE BANNED.
This being a date site, I understand the idea of the picture opportunity is to show other's what/who they could be dating. Even chest pictures without a face are allowed to be requested for deletion. If you go to the rate new pics, you can help with the pictures and keeping the rules enforced, as can all other members.
I do hope this information can help. If re-signing in repetitively does not help after several tries (I'd do over 25 JMO), then it might be helpful to mail Admin and let him know that you now understand what the error with your picture was, and could you have the picture upload ability back. | |

There is a way to put more then the allowed 8 on a profile, or so I hear. But most that have more then 8 have been on this site for more the 3 years, when POF allowed more the 8 photos. And these people never took any of the pictures off their profile, so they get to stay. When you do upload more then 8 now, I understand you do get information from someone in the highter rankings of the site to let you know you are not allowed to have so many.
But honestly most are just old profiles.
I love pink.
Is there a possibility that you had a prior picture that was not allowed. If it was deleted due to improper picture, paintings, pic of a dog and so forth are not permitted, there is a thread about that called 'jokes, monkeys???, search for it and you may find many of your answers in that thread.
Also you may find your answer about not having the browse button available for you in this or that thread. I think that your situation implies that you're upload privaliges may possibly have been suspended for some reason. What you can possibly do about that is also in this thread. Please start at the Opening Post and take a while to read it.

Posted: 8/31/2006 8:03:46 AM | It can be possible to help, but only if more information is given. I'm not sure, with your picture up already, if you are still having problems. But if you are I would be more then willing to try to assist you the best I can.
Please if you can, give a step by step listing of how you are having problems. Do you have the ability to see images, and start the page for downloading pictures? When you get there is there a browser button to click?
When you upload the photo, does it get so far into the upload then stop?
A lot of these problems are already addressed in this thread. If you have a bit of time please read as much of this thread as you can, this will also help you understand how to give enough information so others can help.

If this has already been addressed I am sorry, my picture uplods fine, and I can see...my shoulder? why is the picture not resizing to fit the thumbnail? if its a size issue can someone post the specific dimensions and file size please.
