I'm fairly new on this site and have a question reguarding my image upload button. I did have 8 pictures on my profile, of me, my bike, a picture of me gardening when i was a kid...I did also have 2 funny pictures up there as well, just showing my sense of humor I guess, but they did pertain to my interests. ..and there weren't any nudes or pictures of that sort. Well now, all of my pictures have been automatically deleted except for the 2 pictures of me. ...Also, my upload button had disappeared and am unable to upload any pictures at all. I was wondering if you could please inform me as to what I can do to retrieve it..thanks for your time.....Cheryl ..aka **Ruralblondie** | |

Picture of bike, picture of child gardening (cannot be verified that it actually is a picture of you), and the funny pictures. They would have been deleted to ensure that you are now complying with the site policy of a face shot of you at minimum in all pictures.
I do not know when you will get your browse button back nor do others including the moderators on the site. It is a proprietary function that only the administrator of the site has juridiction over.
P.S. If you do a thread search there is another topic to be found under NO BROWSE BUTTON. This is the wrong thread for this question.

Try loging out and back in again. Last time I got an error that fixed it for me. Guess there's something in your settings on the server that gets lost sometimes. | |

the problems with uploading to a site can be numerous due to the chain of networks and ISPs that have to be navigated through, traffic loads at any given point on your ISP, or the servers here, can sometimes cause an error, best bet is to retry again.

When I was getting an error the other day there was definately nothing in the "chain of networks" that was causing any problems. The upload completed just fine and at the full speed I was capable of (768k-bits/second). It just wasn't accepted by the server after completion. | |

Posted: 4/13/2007 1:13:25 AM | I tried to upload 5 pics...and only one took...the one I was least likely to put on. they were all done at the same time...from the same folder on the same computer...I tried it several times at different times throughout the day....don't know what to do

When I click on Images from my profile, there is NO browse button to upload an image.
Can this please be fixed, I'd like to have a pic up.
