Save the Pic from your E-Mail to your Hard drive first. If you are using an Online service, you can usually copy it straight to your Hard drive. Also depending which Browser you use, there may be a right-click Function something to the effect of "Copy To .." or "Save Image as...", etc.
Can users now put pictures up that are copyrighten if they have the POF logo on them? They look like a lifted picture from when POF members had them on their profiles.
e.g. chick looking at an egg, plate with a fortune from a fortune cookie
^^^ Its 'Grandfathered', which is to say, prior to December 2004 Users were allowed to have up to 16 Images on their Profile. Those who have never removed them since continue to have them on their Profile.
Once they remove a Pic, in most Cases, they cannot upload again until they have, like everybody else, 7 Pics on their Profile.
In some Cases, if the 16th Image is removed, the Profile Images cannot be updated until only 8 Pics are left.
Isn't it 8 pictures Ticket?
Nowadays, subsequent to January 2005, you can only upload up to 8 Images.
Now what if someone knows how to upload 16?
Workarounds have existed for that in the past for a little while, but not any more. Those that did attempt, were deleted by the System.
i surf the web exclusively from my cell phone. is there not a way i could email a pic and have it added to my profile, since im not aware of any way to upload from my phone. or am i doomed to have the same picture posted forever?
have a picture im trying to upload.. it is not too big it is jpeg and it is of my face without nudity but it still does not load... can u tell me why this is happening...

We are sorry but your image(s) have been deleted. The rules clearly state that your main picture MUST have your face in it. Please ensure that all images submitted follow the plentyoffish guidelines. ie. Your head must be in the picture, no indecent images, no profanity, no copyrighted images, no celebrities, no landscapes or jokes. This is an automated message, and your only warning. If you continue to upload images that do not follow the rules your uploading abilities will be disabled
You are permitted to upload 8 photos. How many have you uploaded?
If you have a few uploaded and you wish to change your main photo to another that you have hidden, start with going to your inbox. Then go to images, once there read the options that are available.
These options are shown above, and to the right, of your pictures, but very close to the level of your pictures.
Show On profile ......... Main Image ........ Rate Image
Under these options are boxes. If you change the check marks you will change the picture. If you have another POF window open with your thumbnail showing your picture doesn't usually change. So you need to have no thumbnail of you showing on any window.
