Posted: 8/21/2007 8:34:37 AM | Sorry, this isn't a reply to this posting...i just couldn't figure out how to post a new one.
Here's my problem:
I tried deleting a picture from my profile and it is still showing up on my profile. As well, the pic(s) I tried replacing it with will show in my list of available pics sometimes but never on my profile. Instead, the pic i tried to delete is there. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

| PICS: Profile Image Problems / Instructions to Upload
Posted: 8/21/2007 8:24:29 PM | I have tried to upload 2 pictures that I previously had on my page and now they will not upload for some reason... They are not rude nor do they have any kind of nudity.. I have gone through all the instructions and all the other pictures have uploaded without problem. I went to the FAQs as well, and tried at different times...is there something that I am missing? They are pictures of myself... and as I said before were on my page before..
Please help!

Posted: 8/23/2007 11:00:36 AM | I am having a similar problem, the upload box doesn't show up, so I can't even go to the pictures. This started yesterday.
None of my photos are rude, or explicit, or bad in any way.
So hopefully this gets fixed soon.

Posted: 8/29/2007 1:55:05 PM | Hi, can someone at the admin team tell me if my uploading privileges have been revoked?
I don't see the upload image button anymore, and I wanted to replace the pic of my face which is partially obscured by ferns and plants.
Did I break the rules by having them pics on? As nobody has told me that they were breaking any rules, I would have happily replaced it if that was the case and It I was told or given a message to replace them then that would have been fine with me.
Now and again I report other users for having pictures of animals or someone famous as their main profile pic, (they don't even have a real pic of themselves anywhere on their profile!). It asks what action do I think the admin team should take, I always click the box that says that you should ask the user to change their main profile pic.
I notice that the very same people still have these pictures on their profiles to this day, and nothing is getting done about it. I doubt they have even been told they are breaking the rules by the admin team after I sent in my report. I'm bored of reporting them now as nothing is getting done about these joke profile pics.
Oh, yeah before I forget, whats up with my account now, I have no upload button anymore and I have always put on facial pics of myself. | |

You must first save them from your email to your computer. Most email servers provide easy to follow instructions right next to the pic (often just a click).. to scan for a virus and to save the pic to your computer. Make sure you remember the location on your computer that you choose to save it in. Once the pic is saved to your computer do the following..............
How do I submit a picture?
Login to plentyoffish.com, and click on ‘Images’ near the top of the page. Click the ‘Browse’ button in order to find your image on your disk/computer. Once you’ve selected the image you have the option of having it appear on your profile publicly or privately – you can select this in the drop down menu. Next, click on ‘Upload New Image’ and the process is done.

I have tried all different picture formats and have also compressed the size but the same thing happens.
And no picture seems to appear on my profile at all?
Please help....

I uploaded a close-up of my eyes, since it is hard to see my eye color in my other pics.
The other pictures on my profile make my eyes appear to be brown or black when they are actually a vivid blue, so I uploaded a closeup of my eyes so that people would be able to see it. Visible in the picture were my eyes and my nose and other parts (though not ALL) of my face. Nothing remotely offensive.
Someone flagged it. (I really don't know why, it's my damn FACE, not a cartoon, or nudity, or my dog or something) Now I can't update my pictures at all. So I'm stuck with 5 that are going to get out of date. Is there a point in time that I can request to have my upload ability turned back on? This seems like a completely non-sensical usage of the photo flagging system.

Depending on the Conduct of the Poster, along with a Promise to upload only acceptable Pics, we'll restore your Privilege, where it had been previously revoked.
I promise not to upload unacceptable pics. I didn't realize that showing my eyes in one picture, even though I had 6 others that clearly showed my face would be a violation. Can I please have my upload privilege back?
(PS - I got a lot of nice compliments on that picture. How much of my face is required to be in the picture for it not to get flagged?) | |

Sorry, we just don't have the resources to handle these requests.

Posted: 9/5/2007 7:00:49 AM | Every time I try to upload a photo, most of the right-hand side is cut off. I've tried several times last evening and this morning, and the problem always repeats itself. It doesn't seem to matter if I upload a jpg, png, or bmp, although if I do a tiny 100px jpg, maybe 70% makes it through instead of 30%. Based on what I read in this thread I tried adding a black frame around the photo, that didn't help at all.
Here's what the end result looks like:
