I seemed to have uploaded an attachment which is my new pic but now because it's probably not being recognized I can't put the little hand on it to do anything with it. Any other Mac users out there who can help? | |

As of this Writing, you have 7 Images posted on your Profile.
The < Browse > Button disappears after you either have already uploaded a maximum of 8 Pictures or your Upload Privileges have been revoked. Neither seems to be the Case.
You mentioned "Attachment", make sure what you upload is in Fact an Image as outlined within the Links below:

I am and i tryed that link but once the blank page pops up it looks like any other page.....nothing for uploading pictures. Do I post a thread and THEN add pictures??????

Your Image Uploads Priviledges were never recinded.

Could be the incorrect Size, could be something else. "Read & Do" the first Link below, and if that doesn't resolve it for you, study the second Link, make sure your Images meet the Standards:

Posted: 2/23/2008 5:38:50 PM | Obviously this service has been having major problems with downloading photos since the messages go back to 9/05 and this is now 2/08!!!! 2.5 years and nobody could get this kink worked out already??? It shows that it is downloading by the blue bar crossing that box and then saying opening page but it just gets stuck there. The blue bar is finished moving but nothing gets listed under the columns and no pictures are showing and there is no option for updating/saving the images. There's not even an option for sending the pics to have the service put it in and I can't even add a pic to a message. I have to send it to their actual email address.
2.5 years and nobody could get this kink worked out already?
Yeah, laziness reading the applicable Issues has been a Problem for many Posters.

From this link found in above responses, Images: Image Types, TIFF is not supported - accepted POF Extensions are JPG, BMP or GIF
Open your TIFF image in an image editor and convert it (save as) one of the above supported formats of JPG, BMP or GIF.

| PICS: Profile Image Problems / Instructions to Upload
Posted: 3/2/2008 5:33:24 PM | I tried to uploaded an image, but only the lower left portion is showing up. The image is a 640x480 jpg. I tried shrinking it to 240x180, and had the same problem. I tried deleting and re-uploading it a few times, and the same thing happens each time. The other images I uploaded show up fine, so it seems like there is something weird about this image.
Crop it in the following manner - make sure that the Height of your Image is 1 Pixel less than its Width, such as 300 x 299, 600 x 599 - in your case 480 x 479 - try that.

Posted: 3/6/2008 2:00:50 PM | For the life of me, I cannot get one of my pics to upload properly - but every other picture is fine.
The third picture from the left on my profile, no matter if I upload it as a JPG or BMP, or if I crop it to a perfect square - keeps getting cut off. My forehead and half my right eye get cropped. I've tried cropping the image so many different ways it is ridiculous, and then POF recrops the image itself differently based on how I have cropped it.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is, or can someone else upload the picture for me? I haven't had this problem with any other pictures. | |

I have 8 pics and when I un tic my current pic and tic off another pic, hit update at the bottom of the page..my MAIN PIC on my profile refuses to change??
When I go back into edit images the pic I ticked off to change my Main Image to, is still showing at ticked off.so why wont the image change? I have tried changing my Main Image to every one of the 7 pics I have and the system refuses to change my Main Image to any of them
Any idea what the problem is?
I have noticed so many other glitches lately that I wonder is this problem wide spread..I.E. Messages appears as new messages even after I open them when I go back to my in box? The screen saying I have new messages and there are none as I have opened them two seconds ago??
