Posted: 6/28/2008 5:34:26 AM | I have a favorite photo of myself with a dear friend who works as a "Jake Blues" impersonator at Univeresal Studios--and he's in his costume. The photo is smaller in size than others I have successfully uploaded, so the only thing I can think of is that the photo won't upload because he is dressed like "Jake Blues." Is this the case? If so, that stinks because it's a great photo of us cuddling together outside the shop on Delancey and 7th.

Sounds like the Image is too small.

Posted: 7/1/2008 1:39:59 AM | A very close friend of mine had her images removed from her profile by POF this morning and she is absolutely devastated. They have been on her profile for months and are perfectly acceptable images. She has had to go to work and asked if I would write to you. I don't want to write her username here, is there anyway this can be reviewed please and for the images to be returned?

I click post photo, then when I clicked download image, the box just
blinks and makes a sound like a pop-up and just won't work. What can
I do? Is there a way I can just email the photo to Plentyoffish.com and
then you can post it for me?

You mean you have e-mailed yourself a Pic instead of having it uploaded, or someone else e-mailed you a Pic of yourself to POF?
If its your Online E-Mail, simply save to your Computer's Hard Drive then upload Image to Plentyoffish.com
 | If its your POF Mail, you will have to pretty well do the samething, you will then likely end up with a severely degraded Image and (2) two POF ID Marks on them. |

Posted: 7/15/2008 6:31:03 PM | Had no trouble uploading profile image. Now trying to upload additional images that I want to send with message. Followed instructions very carefully for uploading images. When I find image I want and click upload, my file screen just bleeps off.
All Instructions say about uploading "additional" images is to write message and then check off boxes for images I want to choose. but I can't choose if I can't upload images in the first place. Cannot find any other help for uploading additional images.
Have tried several times over the past 12 hours. | |

your images must reside on your hard drive, not in an email. Save your image that is in your email to your hard drive, note where you save it, then when you click on the browse button, find that same location on your hard drive.

They meet the criteria, I have full face pics and pics of my passion.. motorbikes, with me on them but twice this week they have been deleted. I've trawled through the info mods, so please can you give me a proper answer rather than a link to another thread about the rules and regs.. I've read them!!
Is it that other POF users are reporting them for some reason??
I see that many profiles have pics don't have them in at all... all mine do have me in them!!!
I'm really annoyed, biking is my passion and I'm proud of the pics of me out doing what I love best.
I've uploaded them again so maybe someone could take a look and tell me what the problem is.. many thanks! | |

They meet the criteria
This one is easy .... everyone thinks they meet the criteria.
So ... based on the IMAGE UPLOAD PAGE , the main rule, front and centre.
ALL pictures MUST contain you in it with a visible head shot at minimum
tell me if the 3 shots of your head covered with a helmet meet the above criteria.
