Posted: 9/28/2008 10:27:52 AM | | I'M UNABLE TO UPLOAD A SHORT VIDEO CLIP OF MY MOM AND I AT MY BIRTHDAY PARTY. SO HOW WOULD I CONVERT AT LEAST THE FIRST FRAME OF THE VIDEO CLIP INTO A PICTURE FILE SO IT CAN BE UPLOADED AND POSTED TO MY PROFILE? THANKS ALL YOU TECHIES. | |

Posted: 9/28/2008 4:01:00 PM | Exactly the same problem, select the image, under a meg, content is fine yet it won't upload, it's really annoying. Whatever the picture I'm just not able to upload any pics?!?!
It looks like it's loading yet it keeps reverting to same upload screen.

Posted: 9/29/2008 2:40:57 PM | I've tried numerous times to upload a photo and it keeps saying to log back in to upload photo so I logout then log back in and try it and it still won't upload. File size is well below the max size and it's a jpg. Whats the deal?

Posted: 9/29/2008 4:09:39 PM | I have read everything about managing your pictures. I have done everything right. I cannot delete nor add pictures. When I hit delete, screen changes for a second but the picture has not been deleted. When I try to add, it says that I need to log in again. Could my privileges have been deleted in error?
Delete your Cookies and Temporary Internet Files and try again. | |

You need to save them from your E-Mail to your Hard Drive first. Many Mail Clients have a FILE Menu allowing you to 'save attachments as...'.
Then use the Image Upload Page's < Browse > Button and upload your JPG, BMP or GIF Images to your Profile.

Posted: 10/4/2008 2:05:32 PM | I've been having the same issues. I've read the faqs. I have 5 or 6 larger jpgs up currently.
I tried loading jpgs, clean and legal head shots, around 20-75k. I can 'choose file', and its name and icon comes up on the my POF images page, but when I chose 'upload', I get a second of upload action, but they will not post. I repeated the process several times last night and this morning.
Oddly, as an experiment, a larger TIFF (B+W graphic) did upload. So I converted one of the jpgs to tiff, now 40k, but it would not upload.
No useful alerts or dialog boxes.
I'm using osx and safari, so the hints for windows are not useful.

Your Images are either corrupt or possibly too small.

Did it actually post on your Profile? Was it a TIF, or simply a Rename from JPG to TIF?
No useful alerts or dialog boxes.
