| PICS: Profile Image Problems / Instructions to Upload
Posted: 12/28/2008 7:02:00 PM | Many Months ago, I had 4 or 5 Proper head shots ! I had other pic. also of my Dog !
One Day the automated THING *&%**#$@ Saw Fit to remove all my Profile photos
Nothing improper ! NO Newdety ! ! NOW YOU WON'T let me put on any Photos ON at ALL !! WHY ! ???????? WHY ! ???? I HAVE NEVER !!! Abused this Site !!!!!
I am having the same problem as above. I am trying to delete my main photo and replace it with an existing photo shown in additional pics from my profile.
Can I mobile upload pics to my pof site from my cell phone?

< Browse > and select a Pic for upload, then no Problem. Since |
Mobile Devices leave a Lot to be desired, should these Functions no work, then send your Mobile Pics to your Home or Laptop Computer and then upload from there. |

Most of people's pictures look pretty blurry on here. Most people aren't computer savvy enough to learn how to resize their photos.
i think this is the biggest problem with this site; otherwise it would be a winner | |

my pict wont upload its size is 1.72mb i use this same pict on a few other sites and i never have problem with them...its not nudity!! its a pict of me taken last month on my birthday...i am only new here and all my contacts are telling me they like my honest profile but like to see a photo of the honest guy who wrote it...can u solve this problem for me, Ray..p.s. can one give hotmail addresses and first names ect or is it forbidden to do so...thanks. | |

Make sure your Cookies are enabled.
Your User Agent Engine is showing "MySpace" which is blocked by this Site.

If any Images which you see in your Browser usually look OK, then convert your Pics on your Computer to the 24 Bit BMP Format before uploading them.
Likely the POF Re-compression Filter may cause some funky Rendering. Also read the Post in the Link below on what not to do before uploading your Images.

To get the most full and complete answer to your question you should go to page 1 of this thread and start reading all the responses. I bet if you did that, you'd know the answer to your question before you got back here to your own post.
There is a shortcut method though, you could read (and follow the link) in post #1220... Which is 3 up ^^^ from yours.

Posted: 2/6/2009 9:37:15 PM | I'm trying to upload my picture. It's about 500x500 pixels in size and about 150kb. When I browse and upload it, everything seems to work fine. When I view my profile, only a small portion of my picture is actually visible.
I am not talking about the thumbnail view. The entire picture if you click on it has been cropped by the upload feature. The most Ironic part is that it seems to crop me from the teeth up.
I've tried resizing, everything. It just gives me a slightly larger/smaller version of my chopped up photo.
I am in no way computer illiterate and I know I am doing everything typically. Unless there are some crazy rules to the upload service here, I do not understand why this is happening. | |

If only a Portion or Section of your Pic shows after Image upload, then reduce the Size of your Image and re-upload again. If the Background of your Image is "White" (pale), and has only uploaded partially, add a 10-20 Pixel black Border around it before trying to upload it again.
Sounds like that could be your problem?
