| why was my picture removed?

i just reuploaded it and set it back as my display image. but im trying to figure out why i went through so much trouble. | |

Posted: 7/10/2009 5:23:02 PM | | i'm somehow having issues uploading more pix. i know how to upload pix, and my pix are completely acceptable. the browse button is taking me nowhere to pick out pix and i've tried opening my pics to even try copy and pasting into the space however even right clicking in the box will not work to paste. is there a glitch in the system for the time being or something. i have even tried logging out and logging back in to try that but i have had no luck...any ideas? | |

anyway, my problem is,
my profile was deleted for slightly riske pics, that i had kept private thinking it would be ok. Fair enough, i put it down to experience.
ive now set up a new profile with the same user name but it will only allow me one photo, the browse or java platform just dont show up at all on the images page.
I'm assuming this is because of some kind of history to do with that username. I'm loathed to start all over with another name as its one im known by here and on other sites....
any ideas? mods could you possibly unlock it? i promise not to abuse a second chance.

i deleted 3 photos. when i try to upload a new pic, using either the new flash browser or the default browser, i get this error message:
An unknown error has occured; please try again .
the pics are appropriate size, format, etc.
upload button and browse button present.
i'm thinking, site problem?? | |

My picture contains 3 people. Does that make it unacceptable?
If it's your main pic, then yes it may well be deleted on the grounds that the vetting system has no way of knowing which person is you.
It's best to use a single head shot of just you as the main pic, and relegate the 'three person' shot to a secondary pic. | |

I have many photos that I cannot upload. It states: error, please try again. " which I have been doing for 1 hour. Only one photo has uploaded and it is grainy ( my fault). People on you sight have asked me for more photos which I cannot upload.
