Posted: 9/20/2005 8:12:59 AM | wow, women NOTICE EVERYTHING!!! from shoes all the way down to if you are matching your belt and the shoes together. now some women dont as much as others, but if you are after a woman who is into fashion, you better believe that she is checkin every inch of that outfit that you thought was gonna stop people in their tracks. they will find SOMETHING to pick at, whether it be a watch not matching or even to a pair of shoes that need to be replaced.... lol...
i dated a fashion model, and was actually gifted to get "taught" on how to dress fashionably. | |

They use subtle cues like how you dress to extrapolate different things about you... eg. mis-matching shoe +belt = no style sense = bad decor at your house. shabby dressing/wrinkled shirts (that shouldn't be wrinkled) shows lazyness and lack of care for other's opinions of your appearance....
that kind of thing... now, it's not true that ALL woman look at shoes, but ALL woman notice little details... even if they don't realize it.
and dito with the socks/sandals.. hahah | |

Posted: 9/20/2005 3:23:45 PM | I am one to notice shoes...amongst other things. I have always taken care of myself, and like to dress well. SO........a guy with a cheap ugly pair of shoes or sneakers will definately turn me off..........BUT.......strange as I may seem, I dated one guy in my entire life that could have worn the ugliest shoes, pants, shirts, anything at all, and it was all ok by me. Whatever he did was fine. And now, since he left me, I am back into my ugly shoe thing.

But other than that.... besides the stereotypical sandals with socks...No.
I don't really care as long as they suit the activity.

It's nice if someone notices, but I don't dress to impress women... I simply enjoy trying to look good for myself - whether I'm wearing my Aldo shoes or my Pradas. To each their own! | |
