actually it really depends on the person, I have dated a few in my earlier years (I was in music) and they picked me up, outside of the strip club.
Many of the women view thier job as ... well you guessed it a job! So you do not sleep with your clients (I know someone out there is going to make the comment about all strippers being prostitutes but that is not exactly the truth in Canada is it?) but you want to have them think that they might have a chance...
So the long and the short, if someone catches your fancy, do not pay for a lap dance, talk to them and if find out what you can about them... wow this is like picking up anyone else right?
as soon as you pay you are a client and therefore not that dateable! | |

Posted: 1/5/2007 7:11:05 AM | One of the women from my past with whom I have the most fondest memories was a dancer when I met her. Her job was strictly business for her. She was not native born American, so she had a cute accent, as well as a smoking hot body and an outgoing personality. She used them all to her benefit and went to college for about a year debt free because of it. She eventually quit dancing because it really is a tough job on your mentally, but continued on with school and is now a nurse. If you work in a decent club and have some self respect, it really is just another job for many of these women.
I would date a stripper in heart beat if she had the correct mind set and self respect. Yeah many strippers are screwed up mentally and I would avoid them like the plague. But lord knows I've never complained about a woman with a job. It all depends in the situation. | |

stay away from the front stage......
no chance there........at all
mingle in the club and dont just sit there staring, and drolling like a moron.........
go with buddies....shoot the breeze.....have a few beer......
let them make ass's of themselves
and just be a decent fella.......there to hang out with some buddies....
shoot some pool etc......
and shoot the occasional look at the one your interested in....
lastly.....look up.....there eyes arnt down there perv......lol
or at least thats what I have heard.....;o)

cos the shy quiet guys actually treat them like a lady instead of a peice of meat.
but that's just my impression that i got and what i was told from a few strippers that i personally asked. | |

I was just very comfortable with the whole situation and I paid more attention to what they were saying when I asked them questions than to their dance. I let them know that it was them that kept me there and not their 'dances'. Just need to treat them like you would any girl that you were interested in...

that is SOOOO beyond far from the truth!!!!
i danced for 4 months, i was in a bad living situation and needed the money...i NEVER gave extras it was only about the money...
my babys father and me met while i was working.....and the only reason i talked to him was because while i was on stage dancing he was looking at my EYES and not my other parts....
yes i do admit i tryed to get money out of him but gave that up very fast after talking to him for a few mins......i basically spent the hole night just talking to him instead of working....
ITS NOT ABOUT DRUGS OR MONEY...just because their strippers dont mean their whores or druggies!!! Yes drugs are commen in the clubs but not all girls do them....
most girls who are dancing are not looking for a relationship in the first place...its to0 hard to have a bf when your showing your body to the world.....and i quit dancing 3 weeks after i met my babys father....

Like so many things Virbuis, it depends on the woman. Some women don't mind it
& even enjoy seeing male strippers. Personally,  Yuck!! There is only one man I
want to see naked & that is my man 
Even though I am married/divorced 4 times, I am a very old-fashioned woman & I
would not date a man who would still go to strip clubs. I would not respect a man
who would do that, while in a relationship. Just my $0.02 worth
ps- Years ago, a stripper friend of mine tried to introduce me to a cute male stripper
friend & I said no. No point, it wouldn't work. She asked me why & I told her, "The first
time I saw some woman smile at him & I wondered if she'd seen him naked in some
club, I'd want to scratch her f***ing eyes out!" Depending upon your moral viewpoint,

I love hockey you are miss informed. HA ownes most of the clubs and sets the rules for them but each girl is independant in western canada anyway.
I dated a girl for 6 years who after 3 decided to become a stripper, interesting last 3 years. Strippers are people and have the same desires as anyone. Some "date" for money but most clubs will pull a strippers licence if they get caught or fine them and fire them. Alot are married or have boyfriends some travel with them some don't so it all depends on the girl but that is the hing they are girls just with different jobs. | |
