| What do you miss most about being a kid? Posted: 9/26/2005 9:33:28 AM | The sound of my parents laughing in bed
The smell of my shampoo and this Avon conditioner stuff my dad use to put in our hair
The complete self-less-ness of my dad, never found a man who could begin to compare
The "us-stick-the world" attitude my parents, brother and I had
Feeling completely safe
My mom's talent for good food, to this day I have never had Cordon Bleu rival hers
The intensity of my mom's love for me, NOBODY could fu$k with me, hasn't changed (Awww, now I wanna call her!)

| What do you miss most about being a kid? Posted: 9/26/2005 11:55:00 PM | Not that it has ended, it has only gotten better with age...it was just different as a kid.
What I miss was the exploration...and discovery. I have a fond memory of when I was around 7, living in Alberta. I'd throw a long rope over my shoulder, tie it to a tree at the top of the ravine behind my home, descend to the bottom to exlpore the forest below...It was a new found feeling, a freedom...a lot like traveling to other countries as an adult.

...oh, wait I still have all those things in my backpack. *snicker!
Ironicly, I tested out my little brother's tricycle & oddly I haven't gotten too big to ride that either...YIKES! :)

| What do you miss most about being a kid? Posted: 9/30/2005 12:47:12 AM | | never having to consider women in my life. to just run around, playing baseball or soccer and working while not having to pay rent (I worked full-time starting at age 10)..............I truly wish I would have remained 10 years old and remain a virgin and never ever think I have to use my "special purpose" (from the movie "The Jerk"). | |

| What do you miss most about being a kid? Posted: 9/30/2005 2:58:36 AM | Some of the little girls in my neighborhood, when I was five, trained me to be their "doctor", and taught me highly specific examination techniques. fun.
I was instructed to say things like, "young lady, let's remove those panties so I can doctor you BUT GOOD."

I am drastically sleep deprived now as an adult.

I miss playing hide and seek in the front yard after dark with the porch light on. Exploring the canyons beyond that back yard... they were 'off limits' riding my bike all morning, come home, grab lunch and be gone again all afternoon. riding my bike to the pool on the other side of town. Not having to worry about 'stranger danger' Playing in the dirt with my Brother and our Tonka trucks.
