| What do you miss most about being a kid? Posted: 2/8/2006 3:11:15 AM | The thing I miss most about being a kid is the lack of worries and stress. I didn't give a hoot about war, inflation, work, insurance or anything else. It was all about playing and being with my friends. It also seemed like days lasted forever back then.
If I could be a kid again for one day, I'd spend it playing with other kids. I'd play tag, super heroes and maybe pull out my GI Joes or Matchbox cars. Around lunch, I'd chase down the snow cone truck and get grape juice all over my shirt.

| What do you miss most about being a kid? Posted: 2/10/2006 7:09:20 AM | I didn't have the most fantastic childhood, but there were still little things I remembered that I truly miss. I used to get SO excited to go fishing and camping. I'd catch frogs and salamanders by a brook and bringing it home in an old ice cream bucket and hide it in my room until my mom found it and freaked out. I don't know which I loved more now, catching them, or making my mom scream, ahhhh good times... I loved my grandfathers farm in the spring, I'd be jumping out of the car on the way in the driveway so excited to see all the new babies. I'd sit in the shed surrounded by lambs, piglets, chicks and puppies, *sigh* oh, and hiding in a treefort all afternoon with nothing but penny candies and archie comics. | |

| What do you miss most about being a kid? Posted: 2/10/2006 7:51:05 AM | -life's simplest joys were exciting in every way -ignorance of the seriousness of life -not understanding/caring about anything outside of my little world -grandpa (RIP) -how big everything seemed at the time -exploring and making adventures in the back yard with hot wheels cars and a little imagination -my pets (RIP) -my best friends (whereever they are now) -believing that the Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny really came -my parents still being together -my parents being nowhere near retirement age -having to entertain yourself without any computers or game systems -having a completely carefree life -having it be normal to have, talk to and enjoy my stuffed animals -normal Saturday morning cartoons complete with School House Rock -my biggest thrill was running down to the store every Saturday and picking up the latest comics -not having to worry about adult issues or worrying about the opposite sex -feeling like a big kid now and taking off my training wheels all by myself | |

| What do you miss most about being a kid? Posted: 2/10/2006 6:54:58 PM | I was lucky enough to have had a great childhood, so I don't have to miss it 'cause I soaked it up back then and keep it around for times when I feel like being particularly goofy | |

Posted: 2/11/2006 4:08:01 AM | | wierd as it sounds I miss life before computers came out when you had to go outside an entertain yourself, like going out on your bike and exploring the new housing developments without getting in trouble, listening to tunes, playing star wars and having mock battles. The great days of no worries.

| What do you miss most about being a kid? Posted: 2/11/2006 4:12:05 AM | | I married a former Valley Girl so a lot of things regarding the 80s come up in our talks about getting older. I kinda miss the Commodore 64 I had, when cable has still new, DVDs were still an idea, Rick Dees in the morning, and some of those early cartoons like Thundercats and He-man. lol | |

| What do you miss most about being a kid? Posted: 2/11/2006 2:23:10 PM | | I miss the feeling of, you had forever, when you were a kid a day seemed so long and you always thought you had so much time ahead of you and thenbam you are an adult and half the time it feels like there is not enough time in the day lol And the years just start to fly by. So I guess I miss my sense of immortality lol | |
