I dated a nazi when I was younger because in school we weren't taught too much of anything in regards to history so i gave the guy a chance. i even went so far as to spend some time at the Aryan Nation's compund with Pastor Butler and his mass of ...well....no nice way to put this...hatemongers. Well, when he found out my best friend was dating a black guy I was told to cut my friendship off and when I didn't, my ex beat the snot out of me, tied me to a bed and proceeded to burn my body with lit cigarettes. Then he took the bottle of Jim Beam he was downing and he poured it on the open wounds. Wasn't me that was dating a black person, but because a friend, of a friend...etc. was in the mix, I got the brunt of it. That was the tamest of it, the rest has no place on the threads, just an example of how him, and his friends, treated people whose views differed from their own.
Nice guy eh?
Unlike most poeple on here I do know what I am talking about when I say that to have pride in your race, there is nothing wrong with it, but to curb stomp Somalians and people who are jewish simply because "They Are"....is sickening.
And as for facts I suggest you check out your history books for the white people who raped and defiled their black slaves and thereby started the process of "dilluting" the white gene pool as your kind so likes to put it.
While I have never dated outside my race because the opportunity never presented itself, it's not something I am against nor something I easily dismiss.

Posted: 2/15/2005 2:33:22 AM | I applaud all the individuals who have stated that in relationships it is a matter of personal choice and not what various communities, cultures, religions or society and cheap, dishonest politicians at large demands.
Personal associations are just that, personal, and it should be of no concern to anyone but the parties involved with whom they wish to live and marry, to unite in any form of bond for life or as they personally choose.
It is regrettable that at this period in history there is still so much ignorance, disinformation, misunderstanding, hate and assorted bigotry in existence, and practised so blatantly across this incredible land.
In reading the innumerable comments it is painful that there are still so many individuals with such regrettable narrow-mindedness, much of it based on ignorance, simple misunderstanding in certain instances, and yes, naked hate also.
On this date, in the United States of America it is a given, taken for granted, that citizens and residents of all ethnicities will serve in the military forces, to protect the rights and interests of not only this country, but of every individual, yet at the same time, it is taboo, forbidden in large areas, the length and breadth of this land, in every community and enclave, for those same individuals who are protecting the interests of this country and all its citizens, of varying ethnicities, to be able to freely associate with whomever they choose in loving personal relationships.
It is all right in the United States of America to wear the uniform of the military forces, to spill ones blood, to be blinded, crippled, become amputees, burned, maimed, disfigured, to be a paraplegic, a quadriplegic, to be afflicted with mental incompetence, and any of the other multitude of unfortunate afflictions and misfortunes, which can and do change the lives of the men and women serving this country, forever, irregardless of their place of origin, no matter what the color of their skin, height, weight, language, texture of their hair, or religion may be.
It is allright to die on a battlefield fighting for the United States of America on any foreign territory. Yes it is allright to die for America also.
It is acceptable for all of the above but watch out when it comes to crossing those artificial force shields.
Just simply do not look at or touch, do not speak to, or want to be with my beautiful daughter or son because you are African, Hispanic, Caucasiam, Arab, or Jew.
Yes, all of the above are acceptable and interwoven in the fabric of too much of American life and in many other cultures, but I speak specifically of America because this is where I presently live.
Religious persuasions are used as barriers, as are colors, cultures, nationalities, ethnicities, languages, to name but a few of the twisted ingredients in the artificial slop which rules so much of life here in America today.
Go and die for the country but stand back when you return. Return to your ghetto and privileged enclave, and do not aspire to the best that America has to offer in every way, without artificial barriers.
With certainty, there will be much outrage from a broad spectrum of readers concerning my statements, but I challenge everyone and anyone who will be outraged to look into the depths of your being, your existence, and honestly say to yourself what do I believe? How do I feel? Is it really the way he states?
There are across this wonderful country substantial numbers of equally wonderful decent human beings whom I respect and celebrate for their humaneness and humanity. Please know that my thoughts, comments are not directed at you because I respect and applaud you for whom you are, dignified, magnificent human beings.
My thoughts and criticisms are directed at that vast mean underbelly across this land who practice the regrettable underculture of nothingness, of racism, hate, bigotry and religious persecution. Yes! Religious persecution which does exist.
My thoughts are also specifically directed at cheap self serving bigoted politicians who pretend to believe in the American ideal yet at every opportunity take every action to undermine the human rights of large numbers of American citizens every solitary day.
I am utterly unimpressed with the appointments of a few complacent self serving figureheads for show. I am negatively impressed however with all the actions taken to destroy and reverse some modest areas of progress also every solitary day.
While disillusioned I still have a "modicum" of hope, but I say to America, WAKE UP and smell the flowers and celebrate without malice the happy versatility that is humanity, the versatility that is the populace ot this incredible country.

I do prefer someone of my own culture. I also prefer caucasian men, and always have. Because I am only attracted to white men, and because I am a white female, am I now labelled racist? Is the fact that I prefer to date men who know my background (Italian/Canadian/British/Irish), am I going to be yelled at for subscribing to discrimination?
I didn't think so. It all comes down to preference. I've been told off in emails for not being interested in someone because they are "Indian" "Black" "Asian"...etc., and the truth is, YES, I am not attracted to them because they are "Indian", "Black" or "Asian". I'm simply not attracted to them physically and there is nothing I can do to change that. And I won't make any apologies for it, either. Just like some prefer thin women, heavier women...men with hair, or men with muscles, I have my preferences, and I'll be d*mned if the current culture of fascist political correctness is going to make me ignore what I find attractive. | |
