For a male, having a penis that has a "wow" in it like a hockey stick can be devastating. He may be reluctant to initiate sex in a new relationship fearing his partner will laugh or wonder if he has some new weird disease. For many couples, intercourse may be painful and for some it is impossible. Although this curvature could be a natural genetic trait, it could also be a condition called Peyronie's disease, after Dr. Francois de la Peyronie who first tried to treat it.
Many males believe that the bend is the result of masturbating with their right hand, so the penis bends to the right. If that was true, all he would have to do is masturbate with his left hand and it would go straight. Well, that won't work.
It was believed that the curvature was caused by an early childhood accident where a male was hit in his genitals, scar tissue formed over the years resulting in the formation of plaque which shortens that side of the penis causing it to bend to the side. It's like putting a piece of Scotch tape on the side of a balloon and blowing it up. You'll get the same sort of distortion. Some men can recall trauma or injury during intercourse, and in fact, this wear and tear on the wiener seems to account for the median age of the onslaught of Peyronie's - age 55. For some males, the Peyronie's resolves itself; in extreme cases, it progresses to calcification causing a disabling curvature that requires surgery to repair. At present, there is no reliable explanation as to the cause of this condition.
Many treatment modalities have not proven successful, cortisone injections, ultrasound, radiation, laser therapy. A recent report of success using Lithotripsy was widely publicized. This involves using the same shock waves used to break up kidney stones. It appears that Shock waves are the most successful treatment, short of surgery. Unfortunately, there are very few specialists who perform the procedure.
Many doctors will recommend 100 mgms. of Vitamin E taken three times a day, and Vitamin E cream rubbed on daily, but there are no studies to prove its effectiveness.
For severe curvature, the only treatment at present is surgery. The plaque is excised and a "patch graft" to cover the defect left by surgery. Surgeons are reluctant to perform this surgery unless the curvature is painful or makes intercourse impossible. In some cases the end results may be diminished rigidity of the penis or inability to attain an erection due to nerve damage during surgery. To compensate, the doctor may place a penile prosthesis, (implant) which will make intercourse possible.
A word of warning - do not use a Vacuum Suction Device in an attempt to straighten the bent penis, it may cause more damage. Ask your family doctor for a referral to a urologist to assess the problem.
Also, remember that some men are simply born with a natural, gentle curve in the penis. This is NOT Peyronie's disease and can, in fact, be advantageous in intercourse. It's easier to hit a woman's G-spot with a curve ball!

Our waking up with an erection has nothing to do with having a full bladder. It's about the body having relaxed to the state of REM (rapid eye movement) and we get hardons when that happens. | |

And if you are using one of those ceiling swings I would think that once you are past the outer marker you are probably pretty much committed! Also, for you older folks, be sure they foam the runway to make sure the landing doesn't come up with a sudden jolt when you hit the ramp!

| FRACTURED penis not just "bent"
Posted: 5/4/2008 7:51:51 PM | There are basically TWO things are referred to as FRACTURED PENIS. One was mentioned. The vaso-congestive "tubes" on either side of the base can be ruptured if they are bent with great force and very quickly - usually from an overly enthusiastic lover leaping on it from a great height ** GerONIMOOOOOOO ...***... Riiiiiiiiip. Because this is the area that fills with blood the rupture can cause massive swelling under the skin ( a virtual penile aneurysm) and must be drained before it causes nerve and further tissue damage.

The other thing that happens is the LIGAMENTS that attach those tubes (what essentially is the mechanics of an erection) are ripped off the pubic bone. These are the ligaments which cause the erection to point to the heavens when the pressure is at optimum. Porn stars can bend it at the base to have intercourse at weird angles. MOST regulars guys scream in pain if the erection is pointed away from the angle it normally stands at. If that angle is suddenly and forcefully bent those ligaments rip right off the bone - just like you can do to your knee or ankle ONLY WURST!!!!! It's yo di¢k!!
BOTH, as all readers can imagine, are unbelievably painful, can cause VERY serious long-term effects. Today both are usually treated by surgery and ... AND the surgery is followed by a 4 to 6 MONTH forced abstinence of almost all sex. In fact most doctors prescribe drugs to prevent you ever getting an erection until everything is healed sufficiently. Any further tearing to rupturing can be catastrophic and cause irreparable nerve damage. In other words if you rip it again before it is fully healed you might as well apply for a SEX CHANGE at that point.
I have never heard of this happening during a normal nocturnal erection and a sleeping roll-over. Sounds like there may have been an injury prior to the rollover or something else to weaken the piping.

While the variety of acrobatic positions was somewhat limited,
the angle of the dangle was exactly right for G-spot stimulation during intercourse.

About 10 or 15 years ago a friend of mine broke his. His wife weighed about 150 and was doing the bouncy bounce... too high on the up stroke and snapped a ligament.
He said it hurt like hell and suffered with it a liite while. Then they went to the doctor. After the exam and during consultation he and the Mrs were listening to the doctor describe exactly what happened and how he could repair it.
For some reason the insurance wouldn't pay much on that and their cost would be $1500.
He said they were all quiet for a few seconds, then the wife says "If we're going to spend $1500 I'd just as soon have a new couch."
The next week he filed for divorce...
