- the toilet paper being on the "wrong" way
- cutting myself when the knives are sticking up in the dish drainer
- the dirty socks on the floor
- all the extra laundry
- the toilet not being flushed
- someone asking me where I was when I'm 10 mins late
- all the outstanding help I got with the kids

the smile on their face when I walk through the door and vice versa...

but mostly I just miss the feel of a man's rough skin on mine at night...somethin comforting about that feeling. | |

Opening the door at the end of the day and knowing the house isn't empty, or if it is it won't be for long. Getting a phone call in the middle of the day, just because.
Just knowing there is someone very special sharing the space with me. I mean, my kids are very special but...........not quite the same. | |

1. Having a guaranteed a date for New Year’s Eve;
2. Having someone to share your bubble bath with;
3. Having someone to massage your back and feet when the outside world really sucks;
4. Having someone to fix hot chicken soup when you’re so sick, you just want to die;
5. Having someone who’ll warm up your spot in bed on those cold winter’s nights;
6. Having someone who can remind you just how beautiful candlelight really is;
7. Having someone to reach out to when you wake up at three o’clock in the morning from that bad dream;
8. Knowing you have someone to shed a tear for you when you’re gone. | |

One: Somebody who is fine-tuned to my sense of humour so I can really let loose (and believe them if they, gasp, say a joke isn't funny).
Two: Having somebody to shop for, you know, walking around town and you see something small that would just be perfect and this is gonna make her day so she'll forget all about stinky work and I can afford it and it is sooooo nice thinking about her RIGHT NOW. | |
