and if you no off by hard..no pun intended on how many partners you have had then i think you might be on a mission.

What?? I find that hard to believe. I don't know of too many men that have had LESS than 10 partners since they first had sex. this may be the average for men from the 1950's!! LOL

Posted: 5/1/2008 4:03:19 PM | It matters to me big time; I went out with one girl who said she was a girl next door, really good girl type. Well, she should have been in a porno with girls gone wild. She was 28, had said she's screwed over 25-30 guys, had 3 threesomes but now wanted to start anew and her fun was over.
Well, that means that I would be exposed to 40 guys, and ALL of their partners, as well as the threesomes. Thats hundreds of people.
25% of teens in the U.S. have STD's. They think you take a pill and your fixed. Some STD's are forever. I'm not going to expose myself to that. | |

i understand the motivation, but after a week to maybe a month or so of this, don't you consider the greater societal implications? i can understand a struggle in selfishness versus what's right, but to go completely overboard i think becomes sociopathic in its actual definition.
i've often wondered if i'd easily go along with such a set-up or if I'd feel for the girls upon bringing them to a hotel room and just tell them to undress for a quick peek and then take them shopping for food for their families...and if they prefer money, then i'd know they're too far gone to be helped (by me anyway).

as far as the thread goes, i think the number shouldn't matter as much as the intention behind it. suppose a guy or gal was really looking for a long-term committment and yet things just fell apart quickly in many instances and doesn't go from bar to bar every weekend and makes another try 6 months later? you could end up with a good deal in some-odd years' time.
there's a deeper assessment that can be made that goes beyond the raw number. | |

Posted: 5/1/2008 6:33:56 PM | i would hope at total. I think the amount is only relevant in context. If you've had 3 partners and never used protection i think thats worse than 6 partners that you have been safe with.
I mean are we talking messing around partners too or just full on sex? And to quote a famous politician define "Sex". i mean if u had oral but never did anything else is it still sex? Because i know thats going to make a few peoples records sky rocktet from their teen years at least.
The average for a woman in both the UK and the US is 9 over a lifetime. Personally i think thats a little squiffy because of the abundance of religious zealotry, the abstinance forever and the sex with the temple leader kind that never really makes it onto the books. Also the word "average" means in the middle of the highest and lowest
Now me, ill admit i've had more than the average, but as long as i can still count on fingers (and maybe toes), and remember names and places i dont think its a lot. If you cant remember their names or when/where you did it then you have a problem. But i think that also relates to my generation and lifestyle. If someone in their 70s said 9 i would be highly suprised, and probably give them props for being a horny old **stard. | |

when i am asked how many i am ashamd to tell them espiecally if its more then them. I regret some of the things in my past but as long as they dont think its a problem then it's all good. Lets just say mine is in the double digits and i know the names in order of when it happened LOL  | |

I mean I am 23 and only been with 5 people. Had dates more.. because to me.. sex is good to have with someone you care about. But once you hit double digits I guess it COULD seem like a lot for someone who is YOUNG. | |
