I keep running across people who don't know there is an event happening as they pay no attention to the Forums or to the party link on their inbox page. How about if EVERYONE just copies and pastes the party info into an email and sends it to 10 people on their match list...or to 10 people they would like to meet? It might generate some interest....
I hope I don't miss seeing you wolfy....are you saving some grappling moves for the event??  | |

Thought I should see how it looks and give a more significant call tomorrow perhaps. As it is, I still havent got a clue how many will be there before 6 or 7, (not many by the looks of things) and if it is after 7 well the place usually empties out after the jam. It hasnt been easy to guage the turn out. Lets see if we can get a few more signed up in here, and I can give a better idea as to numbers to the pub. | |

__The Saturday jam is very popular at Fat Thursday and they are well staff.

Posted: 9/26/2005 12:56:43 PM | Hey Cutey, I did not go to Nanaimo. I hear that they had a great turn out though and it was a lot of fun from the sounds of the feedback. I think they must have some sort of music playing after the jam, not sure, I havent really been there all that much. I have taken in the jam for the past few weeks, and did enjoy steak dinner there last Sat. The two for one deal is great. Works out to steak dinner for around 7 bucks each. 2fer 13.95 (cant go wrong there). I will be there by 3 at the latest, likely be there to (welcome) people right at the start. Feeling responsible somehow.....not sure how I managed that one, but will make sure to deflect in future!
I can certainly share posting information with anyone who wants to get another gathering organized. It isnt hard to do at all in terms of getting it up on the site that is.
I think that age ranges totally vary. I would suspect that the younger crowd would prefer downtown over the pub, but then again...what do I know?
Hope to see a lot more people sign up
Hey Doc, you think we need more women? What.....3 to 1 isnt good enough odds for the men?? Would be nice to see a great turn out, not sure if there was enough time to get it as together as the Nanaimo event, but it could be a taste of things to come!! | |

I am just looking to meet people and have some fun....if all women show up...then far out!! I don't really care!!
