by the way i used to hear how she gave my tackles, and guards fits trying to block her, i run into her sometimes and we laugh about it.
Theyre a few tough gals in my martial art club, I teach 2 nights a week and believe me theyre some ladies I swear, that if a man attacks them, I hope he has hospital card with them. | |

I'm pretty tough for a girl but as for putting myself into a man's shoes.....nah! But I have seen some women that I would not want to run into in a dark alley, even if I was with a bodybuilding male!!! LOL
I just think women were meant to be delicate and feminine. Just my opinion.

its funny you mention bodybuilding, our club has a former bodybuilding women champion, i believe she won somewhere in the states and my Lord shes muscular, to the point where she has problems getting dates, most men like their women feminine and delicate. | |

But if that's what they like then so be it. It's just not for me!

And no one is saying it's wrong for women to do these sports....we're just expressing our views and opinions and preferences here. Not demeaning anyone. I have no problem with women in sports and that includes auto racing, just look around you when your driving in your town or city, there are just as many good women drivers out there as there are men and lots of lousy ones too on either gender. If Danica can keep up with the rest of the pack and keep up her qualifing times then so be it, she's not taking anyone's spot just because she's female, she earned the right to be there. | |

Posted: 10/16/2005 11:15:27 AM | | Wow this is a very touchy subject woman and sports..my opinion is if a lady has what it takes and can play the sport and play it well then she should play. There are lady leagues today to play in any kind of sport is she wants to play and if she wants to play there then she should. If she wants to challenge herself and play with the men then that's fine too but, she must keep in mind that men have a different level of fitness and physical body structure which was just the way God made it to be and if she is going to compete with or against men then she should be prepared for the bumps and bruises. Woman have to understand speaking from experience that when woman start to play in men's leagues it becomes a threat to their ego. Sports at one time was always seen as a man's place and well now that it's envolved drastically it's a touchy thing when woman start to step on the territory of most men not all. When I was college I played college hockey with the guys and believe me I was prepared for the bumps and bruises but, I lasted and I had fun and well they did try their best to get rid of me but, it didn't work I showed them i was tough as nails but, I never complained cause I knew i had no place to compain cause I had made the choice to play with the guys and I knew that if at anytime I felt uncomfortable or felt that it wasn't for me anymore I could leave and play with the woman. i have played alot of sports with guys hockey, soccer, football and well I had no troubles. The one sport I will have to agree with everyone I think the bodybuilding is rather unattractive for a lady in my opnion. As far as any other sport if a woman has flaunt as they would say | |

I remember playing basketball with a girl and tried to be gentle until she elbowed me in the stomach. My best friend to this day says that I was wrong for setting a pick on her and knocker her on her duff. After that elbow, gender was non-existant in my book. | |
