| halloween costumes... for your pets? Posted: 9/27/2005 5:18:19 PM | | My little Honeybun (Terrier-Poodle cross) used to get so excited when I asked her "Do you want your HardRock shirt?" and then after I put it on her, she'd skip all over the house showing off for everyone. She also loved her hoody because it made her look tough (she had small-dog syndrome). Sadly, she passed away last January after 19 treat-filled yrs. Rock on Honeybun, you'll always be my #1 party-pooch. | |

| halloween costumes... for your pets? Posted: 10/28/2007 11:49:47 AM | this year I'm dressing my Shep/ridgeback as a horse cause he's close to the size of a small pony (everyone told me I should) About 7 or 8 years ago I dressed my family's dog Ozzi up as an army caddet. I got one of those jiant tennis balls and cut it in half, turned it inside out and colored it with the army camoflauge colors, then I used this piece of fabric my mom's ex had that was army colored as well and tied it around him like a cape. I attached green string to the tennis ball and tied it to the top of his head like a helmut and took him to my school on halloween (everyone was dressing up and I didn't have a costume so I made one for Ozzi) He didn't care at all and he was happy cause the people in the cafeteria gave him hotdogs and chicken strips and all sorts of goodies (that dog had garbage guts and would eat anything with no reprocussions) I wanted to dress all 3 of my shep/ridgebacks up this year but 2 of them are terrified of loud noises and one is terrified of kids, so that leaves the one who couldn't care less about anything but attention. (he's the one going as the horse) | |

| halloween costumes... for your pets? Posted: 10/28/2007 5:13:26 PM | | I got a very cute policeman costume for Barney (Welsh Terrier) at Target last year. Since it just velcroed around his neck and belly, he didn't mind it, and the trick-or-treaters got a kick out of seeing him in costume. :) | |
