This is a great post...learning lots

I have Drakkar, Eternity for Men, and Polo Sport.

I'm not really one for cologne and rarely wear but what do you think about these?

Picture this:

The smell of a recent cinder block sized dump still lingers in the air. There is a hint of musty aroma from a towel that was left on the floor after being used to dry a person at least 9 times. A shirt is lying crumpled on the floor, pit stains, and various condiments paint its surface, the smell of sweat and a hint of hidden B.O. wafts up from it's faded surface.

This is my smell, I revel in its deliciousness.

This is the stank, that is I.

I like Drakkar, it's spicy and exotic, but only in very subtle amounts.

I personally dislike Eternity for men...it's too sweet, and most people who wear it pour it over their heads, probably because it's an easy scent to wear. For me, it's probably an association thing as well, because when I was in HS, all the guys wore it and I can literally smell it in teh hallways.

I'm not into the Polos, the Tommys, the Hugos, because it smells very youthful. Some would like that, I just don't. I find older men very sexy, and so their smell as well. And I love the smell of brandy and cigars.

Ooh, I have another smell I like. Tide! Or Gain. Or whatever detergent people use to do laundry. Showering isn't enough, you need fresh clothes! I love hugging a guy when his shirt or sweater smells all soft and clean.

Alright guys, Pier Cardan has got to be the most sucessful cologne I've ever wore. I'm an ugly ****er, but I constantly have woman literally sniffing me in public to find out what that smell is.

WARNING!!! Don't use to much. I introduced a friend to this cologne. I told him "Only use half of a spray". This poor guy soon began washing his clothes in Pier Cardan!

Hey, try it out. If your woman, or potential woman is not a little more pleased by your smell just shove her nose in your crack. She'll be begging for any cologne you have.

*** That was just a joke! Please don't try this. It is illegal to shove a womans nose into your butt crack without permission! ***

Givenchy is good, too.

There's one (no idea what it is) that drives me insane, it smells like the person wet their pants - alot. Being near anyone wearing that makes me ill.

I've tried:
Halston Z-14
Cool Water
Obsession
Polo
Tommy
Old Spice
Aspen
Eternity
Givenchy
and more..

but I always come back to Drakkar. And the funny thin about it is that I haven't had many compliments on it, but I personally like how it smells and I feel like a stud when I wear it. heh. I'm strange, I know.

Old Spice has a secondary brand that's cheaper and I like it better. Rusty Scuppers, 5.99 for the quart size. Same nautical theme, less eye watering. Hooray, Walmart!

I wear Armani.
Get lots of compliments in odd places.
Like standing in line to pay for gas the other day.
I don't drench it on.
Girls seem to love this cologne.

I like a lot of scents on men. I am particularly crazy about 'musk' scents. I wear several different types of musk myself. There is something very sexy about it.
I can remember when I was young how much I adored 'Aramis' by Estee Lauder. If a guy wore that he had me! LOL! Another one back then was 'Canoe'. (I guess that I am really dating myself! LOL!) A cheapy but goodie from back then was 'Aqua Velva' - I loved it!
Being new to dating again I guess I will have to catch up on what the latest men's scents are. If anyone wants to send me any scented love letters I would love it! *giggle*

If you must wear a scent - then a little of something light and outdoorsy.

Because I'm mildly allergic to most perfumes, I don't wear any.

My last lady used to like the smell of me when I came home the most, Diesel and dust and sweat!
But she got me Black Suede and I even like that.
