Nothing beats a sex and intimacy with a man, but it's fun to use together to spice it up. Not all the time....but, it's great to be able to have a clitoris orgasm along with a vaginal one at the same time. Some guys love your toys and some guys hate it. I do agree with one of the other posts'...it does kill the mood when you have to take a time-out to go get it lol. | |

There're some very intelligent folks on POF, but I would take all answers with a grain of salt, then use your own judgement. You know your own body and it's limitations. I prefer the real thing over a vibrator. After reading so much about them on POF, I ordered one, and when it came it was glass! I can't see why any woman would put something glass there! Wouldn't there be danger of injury, rupture or something? Since they don't do studies on women using vibrators, not even on the Betty Dodson website, I'd say the jury's out on any possible side effects. Sex toys are a multi million dollar industry and that's what it's all about. My sex toy has two arms to hold me, and sweet lips to kiss me, but I can see why some womem resort to the other kind. I can see how they could become dependent on them, and also it makes sense that numbness could result from too much use. Lots of info on the Betty Dodson site on how to use them, but not on side effects. | |

you are helping to enhance the whole experience, you are still there..
and come on.. look at the shape of some of the newer ones.. men arent built like that and they can reach places you cant..
unless of course you would be willing to take lessons on finger strategies.. men should be open to vibrators.. i guess this is probably off topic, but any answers as to why? | |

They found that of the women who regularly used a vibrator for masturbation, half were also masturbating in other ways, without the vibrator. While a majority of women did report that their orgasms felt stronger with a vibrator, less than 10% of the women who said so reported that they could only have an orgasm with a vibrator.
They say you are not to use your vibrator for more then 30 min at a time. I do believe you can loose your sensitivity if over done. Some of them have 7 power levels with each one getting stronger and harder. Once a day is nothing, its for how long you go and what power level you doing it on. Look at men, some do it 3 4 times a day. But in any case not to much study has been on the subject matter and the only ones complaining about the vibrators... are men not women!
best one is the rabbit by the way.... so cant believe I said that LOL.

Yet I have to wonder: De sensitization: If as a child horror movies scared you, but as you grew up, as I have and they don't phase me now(nope, just can't be freaked out by horror movies any more). Well I'd much rather be having my bit of fun with a man, and I know personally that a man can make me feel things a vibe never can. A man can making the "O's" multiple, and I loose intrest in the vibe after 1.
But there is no man here tonight to make them multiple O's happen........... It might have to be just once with the vibe. | |

I had a sex toy party at my house last summer that was with both genders...as we were passing around a specific vibrator, one of my guy friends looked at it and sighed heavily!
