| Why is it so hard to find that right one or am i just to picky???????? Posted: 11/9/2006 9:59:46 AM | /\/\/\/\/\ agreed, i am not exactly a featherweight, but i do tend to ride bigger mounts. regret the shallow card was played as i don't believe that was your point. we just have a different outlook i guess. some people have a comfort level with certain types of individuals and truly prefer to stay with people that fit within that level. i myself enjoy meeting people from other walks of life, sometimes the more odd and unusual the better. have a good one, hope you don't have to chop ice. | |

| Why is it so hard to find that right one or am i just to picky???????? Posted: 11/9/2006 10:17:08 AM | I enjoy meeting people as well. I have always worked with the public & I find talking to all the neat people I get to meet...GREAT!
However, the people I want to spend quality time with, are ones I have lots in common with and I can relate too. I am sure if I were to meet you armor at a POF event, we would have lots in common as we have AG backgrounds.
I don't have alot of time to myself, so I am very picky how I spend it.
BTW, my water heater is good so far this year. I hope I didn't just jinx myself. Last year it cratered on me the day I was cathching my flight to NFR. STRESSFUL!

Is "must love parrots" too much to ask?
Not too much to ask at all... except... do parrots talk? Cuz I'd be worried it might repeat... ummm... you know, stuff.

| Why is it so hard to find that right one or am i just to picky???????? Posted: 5/26/2009 10:05:55 PM | How does one overcome the disease of pickiness?
Do you have a friend that is very picky? What do you say to them?
Deal breakers? What about them? What kind of advice do you give to those that have deal breakers that are making them remain forever in single land?

One day you will find the person that makes you forget the picky things , till then do what feels right.

1) Keep postin' here in the forums/ let ppls know what yr like This was one of the things my GF said she liked about me after we were together for a bit. It let her see that I wasn't just being someone else to try and "play" her.
2) Get out to the Meet & Greets (Lotsa smaller ones on the weekends) I did the walk one for a bit. It was good. It got me out there and meeting other people. Otherwise I think I would have been very shut in.
3) Don' actively "look"....let it happen I had found my gf after I had given up looking to date. I was just looking for people to hang out with and just go for coffee.
That works fer here, anyway..........Haven't got a clue in RL And it does work (at least it did for me.)
