What if you're "not into lingerie"? That's what my guy says. Now I have a closet full, and the one time I did wear something sexy, we ended up making out because he didn't want to let me down, seeing as I was wearing it. He interpreted that I was asking for sex. But the lingerie itself, did not do anything for his "temperature".
I'm disappointed because I love wearing sexy lingerie, and it feels great to me when my guy shows appreciation for my "setting the stage" in this way. But this is the first guy I've ever been in a relationship with, for whom lingerie has no effect.
So guys here's my question. If lingerie doesn't do it for him, and I enjoy and feel a need to dress up for sex every once in a while, what do you think might be an alternative? I mean something that would exude a different energy that might work on him like lingerie does on other guys?
Does the men's shirt with no pants image do that because it's not so girly & frilly? Maybe it's the girly/frilly bit that leaves him cold. I'm relatively certain he's not into B & D, so I don't think the black leather route would be effective. But do you see what I'm getting at here? I want to meet my own needs for acknowledgement of my visual presentation, without making him feel pressured to get all hot and bothered because I put on a costume that he doesn't even benefit from.
Or do you think that I just need to face the fact that he's not into it, and throw out all my lingerie, and give up that aspect of my personal expression? | |

1. Dressed up like an interrogator. I'm thinking Nazi here and I'm an Allied prisoner tied to a chair. She comes in with the blonde hair up tight; black skirt to her knees; silk stockings wit the seams up the back; black patent leather boots up to the knees; riding crop; etc. She wants information. If I crack, she'll make it well worth my while.
2. Same sort of scenario - except not war time - and she's dressed like a cowgirl outlaw. Think Annie Oakley here (even though Ms. Oakley was not an outlaw!) with the tight jeans, leather chaps, pointy boots (WITH spurs!), hat, twin six shooters on her hips, leather vest and an attitude.
Always thought those would be fun to play out. | |
