| Thin girl...ugly face Vs. Overweight girl...pretty face Posted: 5/9/2008 12:30:45 PM | It depends on their personality too. If she were ugly inside and out, then no. If she were beautiful inside and out, of course. If she were ugly out but beautiful in, hopefully. If she were beautiful out but ugly within , hope not. If you stood two women side by side one ugly of face, one pretty of face, irregardless of body type (unless extremely obese or anorexic thin) my first instinctual attraction would be towards the woman with the cute face, as that is generally the "seat" of personality. | |

| Thin girl...ugly face Vs. Overweight girl...pretty face Posted: 5/16/2008 5:39:19 PM | I agree with many in this forum about preferance. At one point I felt, and even posted a forum about it, that a guy had left a date solely on the fact that I am a curvy girl. Whether he did or not, I learned not to care. As long as you love you for you, go out happy and smiling everyday, and walk into any place knowing you look good and are confident you will see things aren't as bad. I've had plenty of guys, even fit guys, talk to me and ask me out sheerly on the fact of being laid back and just having fun. Looks are part of it, but in the end, if the lights are on but no ones home, the guy will still not want to date a girl.
And on a side note, I've been both thin and heavy, and I've had more guys talk to me heavier than thin lol. So it really depends on the place/time/situation really. Different crowd, different guys makes a total difference. Just be confident with who you are, and if a guy doesn't like you solely because you are heavy F-him because he's just not worth it girl.

| Thin girl...ugly face Vs. Overweight girl...pretty face Posted: 10/9/2008 4:26:30 PM | | No matter what, I'd have to be attracted. Experience tells me that most of the so-called "hot" ones are terrible in bed anyway. They know they look good and will happily replace a man who doesn't satisfy her. I'd rather a plain gal who was an animal in bed than a hottie who didn't do jack. | |

| Thin girl...ugly face Vs. Overweight girl...pretty face Posted: 11/3/2008 10:07:47 AM | I guess by looking at my pics that i'ts pretty easy to tell I'm overweight. I was always thin but gained weight after my husband passed away (lost a lot first but then started packing it on).
I have to say I get just as many compliments and I do get just as much flirting now as I did when I had a super tiny athletic body. Matter of fact, the quality of men that now show me their attentions are actually a better quality of men. More mature professional type men vs. player pretty boys or muscle heads.
I'm currently losing the weight to get back to my usual self because for me the weight I gained was due to emotional eating and self medicating during the grieving process. However, if I was always the size I am now and it was more about my genetic make up I would be just fine with that!
Every person has admirers because everyones preferences are different.
Anyway this post reminds me of a book by Judge Judy and the title always makes me laugh "beauty fades, dumb is forever" lol

| Thin girl...ugly face Vs. Overweight girl...pretty face Posted: 12/8/2008 6:46:15 PM | you know?i've never been one to reply to these posts.......we're all entitled to our own opinion, and i respect that.....i dont put my faith in what others say on here, due to the anonimity of the internet. but for me?this one is more personal......... i find it disturbing how 'society"? determines what we should think is pretty,acceptable,worthy......i've always found myself attracted to a woman who's built like i think a lady should be,curvy....shapely.......thats just MY personal preference........ the bottom line is,regardless of size, cuteness.or any other physical feature.if someone isn't "pretty" on the inside? the outside wont mask that....... i find it very sad that everyone doesnt understand that, yet as i've said,we're all entitled to our own opinion.......... well,i did it,LOL i posted................... | |

| Thin girl...ugly face Vs. Overweight girl...pretty face Posted: 12/11/2008 12:56:52 AM | What if the woman was just temporarily chubby?...like me, had surgery and was laid off from my job, gained wait, and now back to working out. I have always struggled with my weight...but when I work out, I have a nice body.
Point is: Weight can always be lost...but ugly faces do not go away...and you must WEIGH the inner person as well.

| Thin girl...ugly face Vs. Overweight girl...pretty face Posted: 12/13/2008 4:47:41 AM | Not to sound bias, or demeaning, But this topic is starting to sound like a infomercial, You know, the ones you see, when you wake up in the mids of the night or morning, around 3 or 4, Where you see the Vialis man selling potency products for the male enhancement, or the Thigh Master, where the sexiest of women, co - sponsering this product, and showing you how. In my opinion, everyone goes through changes, and these changes are apart of all our lives, not just one in general. If a man is interested in a woman, and is willing to loose weight, because she made a comment about it, that might affect his entire outlook on things, and for her as well. Now, flipping this around, Man making a comment to his woman, might just start a fight, and usually does. However, it does not mean, he doesn't like you anymore, just LOOKIN, for something more pleasing to the eye, women same, same affect ! I'm no doctor, nor a guru, I like women that are self - confident about themselves. If being overweight matters to you, about how you view things in life, and gratification included, goes along way, then it is your personal resposability to do something about it. If your facial features, aren't exactly, acceptable to another person, then thats there problem, it matters whats on the inside, and being shy, or affraid, doesn't get the point accross. Now, for the moca latte ! I like women that are well rounded, perfection is always in the eyes of the beholder, anywhere in the area of Average Build, with alittle puffiness, this tells me she's one hellofa plaything ! or on her way to becomming one... Either way you look at it, it all comes down to gratification and appreiciation, did I spell that wrong? | |
