Call me a boring old fart, but it's one thing I can't stand. I like a woman with at least a modicum of intelligence.
Oh, and please don't slag me for this, but the word is "vEracity".  
And yes, my typing sucks!! Sometimes, I think I'd do better if I were wearing oven mitts!!

Although I am not a supporter of the war...I think your statement is unfairly judging the men and women who are over there and doing a job...many of them are not happy with what they are being told to do...some are doing what the truly believe is right.
Nevertheless, they are HUMAN BEINGS too, and they deserve better treatment than the admonishments that you would heap upon them. You can't blame every soldier for what some general may decide to do. If that were the case we should have imprisoned every single German citizen after the end of WWII...
Don't forget that even Canadian soldiers have engaged in combat missions at one time or another that caused the deaths of innocent civilians. Would you treat our men and women so poorly? | |

Rep Charles Rangel was questioning Bush's treatment of poor people in America. Bill O'Reilly responded by saying that the percentage of poor people was higher over Clinton's years in office than Bush's.
An obvious deception!!
The poverty rate took off after Reagan went into office and continued to climb when Bush Sr was president. When Clinton took over, the Poverty rate peaked at 15.3%. It continued to fall throughout his terms to it's lowest level (11%) in 30 years in 2000 when he handed it off to Bush. Since Bush took over, it climbed every year!!
He claimed Bush spent more on aid programs than Clinton. Yes spending goes up every year for aid programs. Bush's percentage growth in spending has been less.
And he does all this with an angry indignant look. Do you think he realizes that what he peddles is pure spin? | |

This is because wrestling started to look less and less like a sport and more like a stage production. The execs decided to be more honest with audience, still technically a sport (the stunts and wrestling moves), but also stage entertainment (the story lines and gimicks).
Perhaps it's time Fox News changed there slogan to something more fitting. Anyone who follows the wrestling industry will tell you, the WWE really started to take off when they started using the honest slogan. | |
