| Men posing with cars Posted: 7/4/2006 3:28:06 AM | The ultimate irony..haha... You pose with an expansive car and put it in the POF profile (say Mercedes SLR). You meet a hot babe on POF and then get married. It does not work out and you get divorced. She then takes away from you that Mercedes SLR you posed with. Expensive? Yes. Fun to drive? Definately! | |

| Men posing with cars Posted: 7/11/2006 6:25:33 PM | i dunno if theres a guy posein in front of a sexy ass porche...hes a little more doable in my books...well if the car belongs to him that is...why not go out with a guy that got nice things and lots of money?? unless he beats you with a 2x4 everynight b4 bed it cant be all that bad.
besides...if he wasnt poseing with his car...he wouldnt get laid :P cause face it..most guys arent looking for the love of their life...till death do us part on this website.

| Men posing with cars Posted: 7/12/2006 3:19:52 AM | ^^^^ Thank you! thank you! Emon!!! You are the very reason I would never recommend posing with an expesive car. Girl sees expesive car...she thinks CHA CHING!! Materialism.
Unless the man wants to attrract a girl he can wave and throw money at in her face, then cool.
If he wants to meet the girl of his dreams, the kind he definately wants to introduce to his mom, like in the Tom Jones song " She's a Lady", then he would have to post in a profile an interesting shot that would not allude to materalism, but a setting that says something about him.
It all boils down to what you want to do: 1) Boink a girl who gets easily impressed with a man's expensive/tricked out ride. 2) Meet the sweet chick you have been dreaming to meet and get married to.
I know I will get razzed, but I tell the truth and I am not Santa Claus, I will tell it like it is.
About the pictures with expensive cars in them...Do What Thou Wilt.

| Men posing with cars Posted: 7/12/2006 4:37:54 AM | I think I'm going to post pics of me posing with my COMPUTER... when she gets a look at that steel-blue case, my firm, terrabyte hard drives and 2 hot, sexy gigs of DDR RAM, she'll know I mean business.
When she sees the romantic glow of cathode ray light, tastefully emitting from the case window, she'll feel the romance that burns deep inside my soul.
One glimpse of my ergonomically styled burgandy mouse (wireless of course) and matching Wacom graphics tablet, she'll know my heart beats with the deep emotions of the artist.
Cars are so 20th century, guys - get with the times and give her a thrill - show her your HARDWARE.

| Men posing with cars Posted: 7/12/2006 7:26:25 AM | Based on this thread, I'm going to go buy a really awesome, obviously expensive, utterly way too cool to drive....
hot wheels toy car.
And take a pic of myself with it. *Swoon*
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 8/5/2006 9:45:54 AM | It's not just the penile department.... I think it can sometimes attract materialistic people!
I'd rather see the man Not his ride!!!! ;-)~
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 8/12/2006 4:28:54 PM | Then why is it when I drive the Black 2001 BMW 330Ci convertable, Girls look at me and if I'm driving the '88 GMC 1500 truck, not even a glance. I really don't want to date a girl who looks at me in the BMW, I want a Lady who wants me for me. Is there something wrong with me? | |
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 8/12/2006 5:55:32 PM | | I've had people stop me on the street and ask about my car - including, "do you want to sell it?" So, why not have one picture with it included (as well as me)? | |
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 8/12/2006 9:32:31 PM | | Some people on this site pose in front of their car just to say that they have one. For some people that is a selling point in itself. lol | |
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 8/13/2006 6:12:04 AM | This thread is HILARIOUS! (And so is "Intel's profile...what a GREAT read!)
So!? Wondering how many chick-a-dees would be lured in by a great shot of a guy standing with his Murray Bicycle? (Bet that same guy wants a shot of whatever the women drive. HAHA!)
Interestingly...almost every Behemoth Hummer roaring past me on the highway has a WOMAN at the helm. Wonder what THAT could imply?
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 10/8/2006 1:05:16 PM | Trust me- no one was looking at you. If all the girls on here knew that you were into slave/bondage porno and was a total jerk who drinks 24/7 - who is into controling others around you and making them wait for you. You are late for everything!!!!!!!
No one wants you for you...............
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 10/8/2006 3:26:12 PM | | Ok im not sure what a man standing beside his car has to do with anything you said,,Sorry but im with the guys on this one !!! | |
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 10/8/2006 4:14:23 PM | This is such BS. The OP is just trying to be politically correct and so judgemental. So what if a guy poses in front of his car..that is his pride and joy and he wants to show it off. Most Guys LOVE cars, it's a guy thing, haven't you figured this one out by now? seesh!
And some women are just hypocritical...they will say that it doesn't matter etc. but they are the first to take a strong note of what kind of car their date is driving I know this because I used to drive a Lexus and now I drive a cheap truck. The difference in the way people percieve you is just AMAZING!
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 10/8/2006 5:31:22 PM | mystic, btw... anyone who can afford a Mercedes SLR McLaren already has the hottest babes lined up ready to take a token and wait for him | |

| Men posing with cars Posted: 10/9/2006 3:02:58 PM | Yup, I agree with the OP (sorry to the 99% of people who think otherwise lol). Guys posing next to their cars (mostly NOT theirs - we can tell, we're not stupid) lol, or houses, as a matter of fact are just ridiculous. It's a DATING site, where you date the PERSON, not their car, house..etc. To me, someone who posts a photo of themselves next to their 'mansion' or 'hot new sportscar' is a huge stuck up and a show off who makes a cheap attempt of grabbing someone's attention by pretending to be rich. Once again, most of the guys' photos I've seen on here with cars, are NOT theirs...(speaking from personal experience, just to justify that fact, so I don't get "how do you know??" lines thrown at me)...I have things I am proud of, but I am not going to posts photos of my homes or car just to make myself seem like a huge stuck up. If I meet the right individual, I will show and share these things with him only. For now you'll just get photos of me! If you like ME, then the rest will come later!

| Men posing with cars Posted: 10/9/2006 3:15:27 PM | chicks love the long ball also fancy cars that go fast | |
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 10/9/2006 3:16:37 PM | I pose with one of my cars in my profile, infact my screen name is a car, -Dodge SuperBee with a '426' Hemi- but I have no trouble with my penis being the right size. Any connection a guy may have between his wheels and his johnson must be totally coincidental.

| Men posing with cars Posted: 1/22/2007 5:25:04 PM | | I dont think so some men are very proud of their rides and would like to show then off. I for one love my rides cause in the end they will never screw you over or go cheat on you. | |
|
| Men posing with cars Posted: 1/22/2007 5:35:40 PM | My "Penile Department" is quite fine, thank you. By the way, I own my own home, have a good job, and have not lived with Mom & Pop since I was 18. To illustrate my comments, I've attached two photos - one of my antique car sitting in my driveway, and the other of me behind the wheel of my stock car at out local short track. Geeeeze.... | Men posing with cars Posted: 1/22/2007 6:42:03 PM | "I've noticed on this site that people are big on posing at exotic locations, like saying "Hey, I've got the big bucks to do such things, so I'm worth it and you'd better be worth it too". It's all about selling one's self. All's fair in the game of love. Anything to get noticed."
I find that to be a ridiculous statement, as silly as the OP's. If travelling is a hobby, then it would be natural for a person to take a photo in a place they travelled to.
Would you say it was arrogant to have a person who loves fishing to have him reeling in the big catch?
I think I smell a teeny sense of jealousy here.

| Men posing with cars Posted: 1/23/2007 11:27:11 AM | Personally i know a lot of guys who use posessions as a way to make themselves more appealing and I also sadly know some girls who buy into it. One girl i know will date anybody who has a "crotch rocket"
I have more examples than i care to relate. I think it's really sad when people can't sell themselves based on who they are and not what they own.
Posessions mean nothing in the long run.
Anybody who would have sex with someone simply because they own a cool ride needs help.
