Also I'll get emails with a picture of two Women in it...I guess I'm supposed to guess which one sent it? Uhhh is this a test? What happens if I guess wrong? Who cares!! :)
Weird... and why do Women always ( sorry not aways, but quite often) have a picture posted with them hugging one or two or three of their girlfriends? I mean who cares??? If thats what they want to portray... then do it...gosh !!!
I guess the point I'm trying to make is different people express themselves in different ways
and certainly men and woman sometimes place value in different things,, I have one picture posted....of me.... I really didn't even want to post one, but not many people respond to blanks.
I guess the only reason I'm responding to this post (something I thought I would never do...)
is, I collect cars, they bring me personal joy....and as far as being phallic symbols for under endowed males...come on, can't you come up with a little better basement analysis than that??? That one's been done to death :) :)
It's only simple showing off...ie. "I've got a cool car...uh... so I am cool", type of thing.
Hey, maybe one day a man will scan his W-2 and post it next to his photo. Or a woman will post 8-12 glamor shots of herself to get on a heavy "favorites" list rotation... Oppps! that one has been done to death too:)
My stance is, who gives a @#*&*&#$@#@!!! what somebody posts as pictures?? Everybody is different, has different values, likes and wants...gosh, lets' have fun together instead of lumping each other into some strange woman/man catagory..

Posted: 2/17/2007 6:56:23 PM | I don't mind pictures that show a person's interests regardless of what the picture is. It gives me a good idea of compatibility and what the guy is about. Guys with pictures of motorbikes, for example, are usually looking for someone who enjoys their passion which I do not. Fine pieces of machinery but not my idea of a fun ride.
But I put both males and females on my favourites list who post humourous pictures. | |

Its not like Im buying the car with a credit card i saved up for this. I was luckly enough to have some success at a young age, most of my friends are working at Starbucks making 8 an hour, Theres no possible reason why I shouldnt get the car I want.
And while cars are status symbols Im not buying one to prove anything. Ive always been a BMW fan. | |

But guys like me and most of the muscle guys out there couldn't care less about impressing women with our cars its more of a man to man pissing contest. lol. If it attracts women. It is just a bonus. But most of us grew up cruising the strip looking for street races and at the same time looked for girls to date. Keep in mind this was in the 1980s when this kind of stuff was allowed. So now here we all are in our 40s trying to relive our youth. Yet the cruising is gone and illegal in most towns now and the crowds of women our age are no longer hanging out at the local dog and suds. Yet most of us guys hung onto our cars to remember our youth and every once and a while get a little memory slice of our youth given to us by driving these cars or posting a picture with them........ Now I find out it a sign of a short penis? LOL. I still have my first car a 1969 R code 428scj shaker Mach1 Mustang that I paid $1,600.00 in 1979 and now is appraised at $80,000.00 and also have a Twin turbo drysump all aluminum 427 Yates motor with a Saleen 6 speed transaxle in my 1988 lowered and flared out baby GTO Ferrari 708 that I drive either car on occasion and never have had a date question my manhood abilities. I am going to run the Silver State Classic race this year and I will guarantee that if I can get in the 220mph club this year you will see my picture posted with me standing in front of my car. and evidently with huge balls and short penis........lol | |
