But as I've said to many men who send me a picture that shows their cars and I have to squint to see him...if I wanted to date a "car" I would put that in my profile.
Most of us (at least me) are not that shallow.

Posted: 1/31/2008 8:03:19 AM | I Know What You Mean.....~"it ranks up there with basement photo's...(LOL) and pics next to cars are a turn off to me too,...esp. when you cant even see what they look like...(kinda defeats the purpose) i like just a clear normal, no additives pic that shows who he is...and you can see his eye's well enough to almost know what he desires... how bout all the sunglasses pics?......sure .......it's hot, grabs my attention eveytime ,,,but when you can't find a pic showing.... eye's.... teeth, or a smile that says something to me... Men posing with cars(especially vintage/classic or custom) bikes, dogs, horses, cats...
Gives a "conversational gambit"... for an email. And not infrequently that's ALL I want to do; offer a compliment,comment or ask a question.
But guys, I'm a rugged individualist here...most women will see you posing with a bigboy toy or a beloved companion animal as compensating or maybe perpetrating a falsehood. And some will see dollar signs. Use your own best judgement.

Talk about "over compensation" SHEESH! (I'd be asking the guy to park the behemoth somewhere in another neighborhood...NOT in front of my house!)
Like those big ole mud trucks with Giant tires and rumbling shiny exhausts, and you need a ladder to get in?UGH!

He wanted me to take a couple pics of him with his car. And the next thing I know, I'm kicked to the curb, and he and his car are on match.com. I think in his case, he felt the car made him more attractive to younger women......whatever!
