Got to list a few...

Jaws (original) - I just adore sharks and this had great appeal all over when it first hit the screens. I remember the impact in the cinemas at the time and to anyone entering the sea on holiday etc.

Alien - Being a fan of sci-fi movies and the fact that Sigourney Weaver starred in it, made it an enjoyable film to watch. There was tension all the way through and the scene when the alien made it's appearance, will be remembered by all who saw it.

The Excorcist - A brilliant film, with more than a few scary moments throughout. Linda Blair didn't know whether she was coming or going in the film...spinning head and all that.

Blues Brothers - Funny film and the music was simply superb.

Young Frankenstein - Very funny film starring Gene Wilder. The scene with the police chief and his false hand was hilarious!

All the Presidents Men - A big favourite of mine. Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman, as two reporters from The Washinton Post, who uncover the Watergate scandal involving President Nixon. Great performances all round...a must watch if you haven't already seen it.

Pulp Fiction, just a class film.
Life of Brian, hilarious.
Napolean Dyamite, strangely likable film.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Clint Eastwood at his best and fantastic music score.
This is SpinalTap, rock on.....

Wizzard of Oz

I felt the pain of the journey - every step! The hope of getting to OZ my only driving force and then more pain! My first adventure with a wizzard that faked it!

The carry on films belong in a different group for me.

I prefer to watch one of them on cold spring day afternoon, when its raining:

Sorry Roaul, but the carry on films have got to be some of the worst garbage ever to be shown on tv...along with Police Academy. Why did they bother?

Forgot to add The Godfather to my favs...superb!
