Although if you saw my pictures on here and then saw me on the street you would be able to recognize me, so I really haven't messed with them too much.
Lots of people put up pictures of their cats, a cartoon, a painting etc...so what? That's cool. Personally myself, I might not bother putting up a picture that didn't have me in it...and only that picture. If you have a million pictures on your profile of fozzy the bear, but 1 of you, then that's cool, at least I can see the person who is the obsessive fozzy bear fan.
Again, this is another personal opinion...I wouldn't choose to put up a picture of me with a hot guy on my profile, be he an ex or not. When it comes down to it, this is first and foremost a dating site really, and I would think that most people who are interested in someone (while realizing this person has been with other people in the past) is a blank slate.
I can guess that you've had girlfriends, you don't need to show me. | |

Why does it matter i can only see maybe jelousy
Well, I have a feeling that I and all the other girls on this site have enough confidence and self-esteem to not have any ounce of "jealously" over a girl whom I've never met that's dangling off the arm of a guy whom I've never met.
It really doesn't matter, in the end. I'm just curious as to the psychology of it all. I've noticed this pattern in alot of profiles with photos, and wondered what the motivation behind putting up a picture of that nature was.
That being said I am not hateful of guys (or girls) who have those pictures on their profiles. I will not block you if you send me an email and you have a picture of you with your ex-gf in it. Infact, I could very well become a good friend of yours, even if the only picture you have online is you with as many blondes as can be crammed into a photo as possible.
Infact, kudos to those people who have a photo of them with a sexy significant other. Even if it's not an ex, at least the picture lets me know that people aren't afraid to touch you. Photos like that eliminate the worry of "Does he/she have leprosy???"  | |
