Let's link 2 "issues" together historically women breastfed cause there was nothing else, likewise throughout history all males had a foreskin.
Then one day someone thought males needed to be circumcised and then some other brilliant person thought man made formula was better for babies.

And where are we today?

Breastfeeding and no longer circumcising our boys.(unless we WANT to)

Need I say anymore?

i don't know if that site contains "all" the information someone would need to know but i think it's interesting that someone has developed a device to replicate the natural foreskin lost by most men as infants. it would be something they could purchase and try out instead of viagra or any other harmful drugs if they were having issues. it would also give those men in doubt, the opportunity to see how it feels to have foreskin. i don't know, never will know, how natural the device feels but i do believe it's a pretty creative idea.

If you do get it done ask to go in with him. I DID. He never screamed he layed there looking around and even tried peeing on the doctor. THEY never straped him down they just held his legs so that when they made the cut he didn't move and get hurt. He was fine. Never cried after he had it done either.

I used to think that cut looked better, and was more hygenic.... but honestly, I have been with far more 'pleasant smelling' or cleaner men that were uncut than cut. Maybe if you're uncut you take more time to clean better, just instinctively. I used to think that if I ever have a son I'd go ahead and have him circumsized, but now I really don't think I would. In my experience, uncut men do enjoy sex more -- they seem much more sensetive.
Just my 2 cents.

This was a pretty easy decision for me to decide I found.
His father was cut.. so follow suit. Interesting though, when I got to the doctors office, before this was done my doctor informed me of the following little interesting facts:
A man with a circumsized penis, is less likely to contract an STD/STI
There are no known cases of ANY circumsized man to have cancer of the penis. ( Apparently there are of men who are un-circumsized , I didn't know this until my doctor told me this and I can't recall the % for the first one)
And of course, the big one, Less likely to have an infection. Now alot of you say- as long as you teached them how to wash down there properly, should be no problem. But thats just it.. SHOULD BE.. but I know plenty of people who end up having problem, even when washed properly.
But, other than those factors that I can recall, it's purely cosmetic.
And my son slept entirely through the procedure

Oh a funnier-grosser note,
my mom asked me when I was pregnant with my son, if I was going to snip or not snip.. I said definately snip..Moms reply: well, why would you do that?! Your brothers aren't!
just my .02 :)

Why you are so stupid? There is special self-cleaning system in organism. There is special toxic fluid that kills the germs.

If you cut... you don't have it. Still you have the folds that can contain germs.

Let’s say about “better look”. You see cut penis more often that's why.
In Jewish porn all artists are circumcised.
Don’t look this porn and you will believe that normal non-cut penis looks much better. Feels the same by the way.

i have had both men with and without and they were the same in being clean
i am not there inspecting it number one ,it is a part of his body .
and why does it matter to the woman as long as he is clean either way .
my son was cut when he was 5 days old ,so i am on both sides of it
my sister desided not to cut her son and he is fine
it is all choice and if he is ok with it what is the problem .

Eeeeee Gads!

please do not cut your son!!!

it's a fad that is wearing out in the US. About 50% of boys are uncut now, and the # is rising.

It is mutilation, and there is not any reason to do it except that the Dr talks you into it because he makes $$ off of it, or your baby's dad is uninformed and talks you into it, or they take your baby and do it without even asking(happens alll the time!)

According to NORM and other huge non-profits the rate of STD's and all that is not higher for uncut men, that's a myth.

Both my boys were left intact and they are both fine, and know how to clean themselves. It's normal and they have never had anyone say anything to them, or tease them, that's rediculous.

if they decide later in life to get snipped, then that is their choice. I highly highly doubt this will happen, and more likely they and their wife will thank me profusely! lol

I can't understand the reason behind being circumsized. Mainly because the reasons vary. If it is religious why did "God" create us with a foreskin? Did he make a mistake? Yeah, and he's asked man to rectify it, nice one.

i never got my son snipped...maily because it is unnessecary for most guys and it is very costly..$200 cash upfront here in newbrunswick ,canada. however...if it is required for medical reasons later in life it is covered by medicare ( provincial health coverage).

i say..unless there is something wrong medically that it needs to be done...leave it alone and teach your sons how to wash themselves their private parts included.

Dr. Spock, stated “I feel that there’s no solid medical evidence at this time to support routine circumcision.” He recommends “leaving the foreskin the way Nature meant it to be.”
http://www.mothersagainstcirc.org/

The perception that foreskin is unhygienic is a myth, says George C. Denniston, M.D., president of the Seattle-based Doctors Opposing Circumcision. "Foreskin protects against disease; it doesn't cause disease. If foreskin is unhygienic, eyelids should be considered unhygienic."

The procedure is even being questioned among some non-Orthodox Jewish parents who are departing from the traditional bris -- the ceremony of circumcision that initiates a baby into a covenant with God. Instead, they turn to Jewish laws that forbid inflicting pain to any living thing.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is the highest child health authority in the United States. On 1 March 1999 the AAP released its long-awaited recommendations on circumcision. The AAP News Release Video stated, "The AAP does not recommend the policy of routine newborn circumcision..."

My ex and I had a rough go when our son was born (he was early and I had some rather serious complications), so the question was asked and never answered, so our son is not cut. I am glad it turned out this way, because I don't think I could have put our already hurting child threw more.

On the other side, if that is your belief that boys should be cut, so be I. I do not want to preach to anyone. BUT, it is painful for the child, unnecessary and over rated. Do what you have to do.

I will say this. I think that it is a choice but not a good choice to have a boy snipped. I did not have my son circumcised . And he is now 6 years old and never had any problems with it. And all of those that think that it is gross and smelly that is not true. Ya'll were just with gross and smelly men. Please for all the parents that might thinking about having it done please do some real research before you do it. It is very painful procedure and the child does feel it.

I had my son circumcized because I know boys will be boys when they're older and washing won't be a priority. I know of many others whose boys are uncircumcized and they have many urinary tract infections. In addition, recent studies have found that men who are uncircumcized have a higher rate of HIV infections than those who were circumcized. That could be due to any number of things but one reason is the foreskin "traps" viruses (if the man slept with an infected partner), thus giving him a higher likelihood of catching an STD than a man who is circumcized. Women whose partners are uncircumcized tend to have more yeast infections, urinary tract infections, and a higher likelihood of developing cervical cancer.

I did not have my so circumcised because of my culture. I am hispanic and we don't do that to our sons. I have 3 brothers and none were circumcised and live a happy life. I have 2 son's ages 6 & 16 and they were not circumcised and they have never had any problems. The key to keep in mind is that they have to peel it back and clean it or they will get an infection.

Wow this is such a love hate subject, you must love to hate it

http://www.aap.org/advocacy/archives/marcircum.htm Aap statment on routine infant circumcision - NUFF SAID

Anywho I have 2 sons, 1 is circ'd 1 is intact. I do not worry about my intact son appearing different from other boys in school, I'm not sure if yall know this or not, but boys do not walk around with their penis's hanging out.

I have fought off many of what I like to call devil women, you know the type, do this or you are wrong. My oldest son is circ'd because that is what his father chose. Let he whom has a penis make penis decisions. When my baby was born, it was my choice and I chose to let him choose.

Circumcision is painless? LOL! And I am the virgin Mary! You think it's painless because your son can't say HEY MOM MY THING HURTS! I guess maybe you had your son circ'd and never looked in his diaper until it healed. I looked .. red .. scabbed gernitals .. sounds painful to me.

Anyway ... thats my answer.

I got my son done. His father is done, and it's just something he and I both wanted done. I don't really have any 'major' reasoning behind my decision...yes, you could say a part of it was "cosmetic"...another, yes the cleanliness thing. However, I am not sitting here saying that uncircumsized boys/men are dirty...not by any means. It's all in the way you take of yourself....snipped or not snipped. To each their own....

angeleyezz,

I'll give you a reason why it was a good choice.

I don't know about americans But I'm originally form the Ottawa region and Quebec and the first time I saw an uncut penis was in school gym class in Hamilton, Everyone in Quebec in my school was cut to be uncut was unheard of and not even discussed. I believe the government there still pays for it. Unlike Ontario, But I gladly paid the $350.00 to get it done.

I remember on at least 3 occasions in my dating life women reaching down my pants for the first time and saying thank god your circumsized. I even had a girl ask me on the first date and she indicated that if I would not have been, that would be the end of the dating between us.

All boys should be done. God didn't make us perfect. It was the only minor flaw and we can fix it.

Regards,

If I have a boy (i'm due in 4 weeks) i've decided not to get him circumcised unless the doctor tells me it's medically necessary.

If your son is stupid enough to have unprotected sex with multiple partners, he deserves to get HIV. The real issue is smart/safe sex, not circumcision. If I told you your son could maybe break his arm someday and develop a horrible infection, why not have it removed now? All the items you have mentioned are myths and the simple fact is circumcision is completely unnecessary. Once it's done, it's too late. Thank God my son was spared the knife.

holeinone67, you are insane!

Circumcision is completely unnecessary! Ever think that maybe if the women you were dating were a little more open-minded, maybe foreskin would not me an issue? Sex is better when you're uncut anyway. Most cut guys have no idea what they are missing...
