My world is the last 10 million of human existence. Your world might last a hundred and forty years. That's one second out of a day. In the final analysis, like the American Indians learned. There is no equality; only power. Men can be single minded deadly predators and often take what they want; women are prey. One way or the other, if you have what men want they will take it. It is not a matter of right or wrong; other than use your charm to get men to take it easy on you, when men get fed-up and decide to take their power back, there is nothing women can do to prevent it. The power differential is far too great. The only thing women have to give them equality is the fact that men are giving it to them. Don't expect it to last. The last ten million years of human existence and still in most of the world should tell you that. Women are abusing this temporary equality men have given them so it will not last. If you look and listen you will see men's attitudes are already changing. Like it or not, that is just the way it is. | |

Posted: 3/2/2006 3:22:25 PM | A couple of silly delusional women think that just because they happen to live in western countries with minority of the population of the world and during a period of time that is only 0.001 percent of human existence that they are living in the norm. They can’t even read men’s posts and writings and see that so far only a minority but a significant number of men are getting fed-up. When the number of men that are fed-up with status quo reaches a substantial majority, it’s over. There is nothing women can do other than use their feminine wiles to prevent it and that only works in a few cases for the few that are beautiful or while they being laid.
One only needs to look at history or the majority of the world to see how little power women have. What men have given or allowed, they can quickly take away. | |

DonWilliams' opinion is unpalatable, but there is a core of truth in it. Right now in our society, women have the same rights as men, BUT, such rights are enforced by other men. If some day, for some reason, men decide that they won't keep doing it, women won't have much saying in the outcome. ¿Absurd? Not at all. You can see it in many societies in the world, where women are in a second place, because men of that society, as a collective, are not interested in enforcing women's rights.
For example, I read "one day a woman will take your power and show you that you really didn't have any in the first place." Ok. So, how will this woman take his power? The only way she has to do it is by means of other men enforcing her decision, whether through the courts, police, or similar. This woman cannot take his power all by herself, by the simplest of reasons: she's not as strong as him. Now, just extrapolate this scenario to a whole society, and we have societies like the Taliban, Iran or similar. Unfair? Yes. Real? Yes, too.
Oh, yes, women in some of these backward societies have been "liberated". But they were liberated by men (e.g., US troops in Afganistan), never by other women.
And that, my friends, is something to have in account. Power is a fragile thing, specially if you depend on others to keep it. | |

Try to study the Phillipines, I can continue many aspects of your wrongfull deluginal mind. There are a handfull of you out there and that is less than one percent in our population, that feel and think as yourself. May it be if it makes you feel any better to have your clock works intuned into your strange thinkings.... Physically, yes the man is stronger than a woman, most of the time (there are a large amount of women that can physically put a whoop ass on you.) Egypt did fine until it was ruled by a woman. Then it was defeated and never regained it position as a major power in the world. Amazon women are a myth. Of course there is my heroine Joan of Arc. She was superior to any man at the time. Of course one web site claims her I.Q. was 300, making her the smartest person that has every lived. In any event she is one in ten billion.
That you can find a few Olympic caliber women that are superior to me is immaterial. Give me at random 20 guys and 100 women and I’ll pace my bet with the guys. They are single minded predators and while the women are grouping together and talking the guys would kill several. After a couple of times like that the women would panic, surrender, and he guys would f-uck them and make slaves of the women. | |

If you were to be stuck on an island with noway off would you rather have 10 women or 10 men at your side?
I would take the women simply because their lack of ego would allow us to strive for our survival and not the superiority complex which would doom the men to break off into splinter groups and ultimate fighting for control of said island...

you go girl i was just thinking the same thing but apparently these guys thing that only the men are strong and can do things...boy so they have their facts wrong. i have a neice that is in the canadian forces and she is over seas with the guys and let me tell you she is not in the kitchen or doing paperwork behind a desk she is out there with the men fighting and trying to bring peace. so guys get your facts straight | |

No insult intended at all, please read my complete post before flying off the handle. So you're a veteran of the USN. Would you be able to take in hand-to-hand combat a male soldier? I seriously doubt it. Again, no offense intended, just stating the facts. As a gender, female are less strong than male. What prevents the male from taking advantage of it, is what we call "civilization", "laws" and "morals". But, if these crumble -like in a war, for example-, who knows what would happen?
About having my facts straight, an example of "women having power only because of men letting them" comes to me. Remember Iran? If you know history, you will know in the pre-Islamic Iran (under the Shah) women enjoyed freedoms, didn't wear burkhas and had many rights, both civil and political. When Khomeini took power, he ordered women back into burkhas, stripped them of rights and made of them little more than animals. Iranian men enforced this order. Did Iranian women have the power to stop it? Did they have the power to fight it? The answer, unfortunately, was no.
Get it? Were there "strong fighting women"? No. Were there some "woman power" instances? If there were any, they were quickly stomped. And women could do nothing about it. Was this barbarism in the middle ages? Was it hundreds of years ago? No. It was in 1979, in the modern 20th century, 25 years ago, and continues today.
Now, and before you start again, let me tell you: I don't find this scenario palatable or desirable. Moreover, I find it really immoral. But, it is possible? Of course it is. History shows so.

Rebecca, it's not about right or wrong, except for brief periods of time; it's about power. Men have it; women don't.
I have pointed out how throughout all, but a few extremely brief periods, of human history and still in most of the world, men have ruled because they have the power. It is delusional to think the current situation in a few Western countries where men are second class citizens will remain for very long. Nevertheless, it will remain for as long as the men permit it.
I sense that more and more men are beginning to get upset at the status quo. When or, should you prefer, if their numbers increase so that it is a substantial majority of men, then it is over and women will be stripped of their privileges. That’s just how it is. As single individuals both you and I are powerless prevent it from happening. It may or may not be in our lifetimes, but it will happen. | |

MissVal- you are right, this guy is a sadist phsycopath.
This is another reason women will never have any power except that given to them by men. They get sidetracked and can't stick to the issues. They can't even follow the rules the agreed to when they agreed to slam the thread and not the posters. Instead of presenting any valid argument, assuming there are any, they resort to name calling. When men get fed up with women abusing the privileges they have given women, they will not resort to name calling. Instead, they will take effective direct action.
Men are single minded predators. When they go to war, they plan strategies and take action to physically destroy the enemy. Women will comfort each other by calling the enemy names and burning their bras. That may amuse or irritate the enemy, but it doesn’t harm them. | |
