I now introduce it to my girlfriends who find offline/street choices dull and boring because there are lotsa cute guys here.  I've also met some nice people who visited my country for holidays thus I've also made new friends besides getting dates.

To me thats being plan ignorant. If you cant even reply with a nay or yay your not worth the effort. Tell you the truth I'm tired of running in circles trying to impress someone through a screen. I have started up a email relationship with a very sweet guy in my area....hopefully we will meet..if not ive loved the emails ive gotten from him

Posted: 4/4/2005 12:21:50 PM | you're exactly right, cooter. i LOVE this site! i am trying to get my best friend to try it, because i met the perfect man in here. i noticed him from his intensly cool posts in the forums, and started talking to him by e-mail and then phone. just spent a week with him, and i am very happy. you can learn a lot about people by watching the forums. it's a fantastic way to weed out what you don't want.

I have met a couple of women from another dating site, but nothing came of it... I like to chat for a while and find out if I'm at all interested. Then I'll offer my phone # if I do feel like I would like to get a better feel for this person. After that, I can usually decide rather quickly if I would like to meet this person or not. Often times when I do ask for an actual date, it seems that all kinds of suspicions come into play. I don't know if they get afraid or what, But often it just seems to turn south after that. I thought that is what this site was for; meeting ppl online and then getting to know each other a bit, with the ultimate goal of meeting people. | |

Its fun sending messages but its also like a veil until you meet in person you cant tell if its that great connectin in reality. you say it in a message and feel it but try saying it when you meet might feel like cold fish and visa versa then its like the old days when they wrote letters and got married then some were really in Love too. cross your fingers and hope youget what youre really asking for | |
