| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 7/29/2006 11:15:07 AM | | there is a point in the age gap that a huge difference causes problems, however I would rather handle problems like that than a rude rude MI | |

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 7/29/2006 11:30:05 AM | I still think it comes down to the maturity of the parties involved, more than who was in office when either of them was born. But then, I'm a young guy, what in the high holy f*ck would I know about anything?

That's why I have "the problem" I guess. I may be rude, but I won't lie to get in your bedroom and then leave you feeling dirty and used, afterward.
Geez... if that is truly your belief, as well as others, no wonder I'm disliked and the players are getting everything they want.... As I stated in the past... women are playing themselves, yet blame men for their own behaviour.
Any guy can tell you what you want to hear..... it's unfortunate that's all it takes to fulfill their agenda.

Thanks... it's a unique quality in "Ontario" forums..... I'm glad you can see that in me.

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 7/29/2006 12:43:39 PM | MI is right this is a text based forum, and sometimes i have come across things that ppl have posted and wonder who pissed in their cormflakes this morning ? but i know that sometimes the irony and the sarcasm do not come thru on here. the important thing to remember is that we are entitled to voice our opinions, what we are not entitled to do is attack each others person.
as well i have chatted with mi and find him neither rough around the edges, nor anything less than a gentleman......
on topic - me personally i dont think i could date someone younger than me, as i dont fel that we would have anything in common, and i dont want to have to train them either
having said that, my choice no more than 3 years younger or 10 yrs older.....

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 7/29/2006 1:13:12 PM | | OK all. I think this has truly run its course! We all have our opinions in what we think is right and wrong. The printed word cannot always come out the way we intend it to be. Gawd knows I am a living testament to that! I see all sides here. MI? I think the one comment you made fried you like a piece of bacon for sure. Pink and Mirage? I truly understand the points you each were trying to make. I think overall, we ALL have legitimate points, just depends on how it is said. And since this is the typed version, things or people can get misconstrued! You cannot have tone of voice nor body language here. Wish we could sometimes.! So let us all just accept what the other thinks and leave it to rest? | |

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 7/30/2006 6:53:32 AM | Kitkat - yes I think that younger men hope that older women have a wealth of tantric/sexual knowledge, in fact the majority that have contacted me have said they are attracted to older women because they know what they want, know what they are doing and know how to fully experience pleasure and can take the man on a journey as well (though, admittedly it is often said in a more base/crass manner ).
I think I personally am often off-putting to older men and even men my age because many of them had children when they were younger, whereas I had my son the year that I turned 30, so where I am in my parenting stage is not a place the ones with children often desire to re-visit when dating someone.
My guess is they would prefer someone with more freedom/free time.
Whereas younger men (who like children) are more willing to spend time with me when I have my son and go on outings and things like that.
Of course, it's not romantic/sexual in the presence of my child - just friendship then.
Anyway I just woke up and I am probably not making much sense...

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 7/30/2006 7:37:10 PM | makeup sex? now there's a concept! lol
'cept the only one in this thread i've been arguing with is someone I would never consider. I really don't think I misconstrued "tone" or "sarcasm" when he said I had miles of years driven into me, or that I'm after young meat, or questioned MY maturity level after he made those insults. but HEY! i've digressed.......makeup sex...that seems to be the current topic.....
Gummle? you want to start an argument with me? lol

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 7/31/2006 5:55:04 AM | I dated a guy that is 7 years younger than me. At times I felt older, but for the most part age didn't seem to make a difference. We are still friends and he's alot of fun.
He's actually at my house right now while I'm at work. We hung out over the weekend. Had a blast!!!

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 10/7/2006 3:44:44 PM | My average is 2 to 5 years both ways, but I have gone 10 years both ways. As others have stated and I agree older women are independent, strong, assertive, confident, not needy, not clingy, very good teachers and also excellant willing learners. BUT, 1st minds, values, and interests, should be similar along with other things that help contribute to a more interesting, healthy, and committed relationship. | |

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 3/5/2007 2:02:43 PM | I would have to say it depends on the people involved.
My mother in law married a man 22 years younger than her and they have been married for 20 years!! For them it worked out really well.
Myself? Hmmmm.......just got asked out by a 27 year old man this last Friday and all I can think is - OMIGOD what is his mom going to say? think? This is her baby, after all.......stupid, eh?
I did give him my number - if it goes anywhere, I am calling my mother in law - to help me stop being stupid about the whole age thing.
How can I have a mother in law and no hubby, you ask? Simple - she told me to go right ahead and divorce her son but I wasn't allowed to divorce her - so there you go........

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 3/5/2007 2:25:10 PM | Speaking for me only... I have always attracted younger men..my ex husband's were both 7 and 6 years younger respectively....
I feel I don't look my age..so maybe that's why...
I also have dated 10 and 15 years younger...
Age is but a number, depends on the person and their level of maturity..

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 3/5/2007 3:50:58 PM | I guess it's just a matter of prefrence. Theres 10 yrs between me and cin and I love her more than anything. We have so much in common but the most important is we don't care what anyone thinks. I always want to make her happy and make her dreams come true like she does mine. I love her daughter like I love my son and she loves my son as she loves her daughter. We are a very VERY happy family and crazy about one another. | |

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 4/3/2007 6:33:28 PM | | I think age is just a number.. if a guy is younger and hes dating a older women.. its probably not because of lust... the young man like myself could be just mature and looking for somthing serious. | |

| Older woman / Younger men? Posted: 4/5/2007 8:51:13 AM | | I dated a woman who was 21 and I was 35, oops thats the wrong way, anyways I would date a woman as old as 50 as long as she didn't look like she was 50. I think that age is just a number. i'm pretty sure that if I dated someone that was near my parents age my mother would probably have a heart attack. She was pretty pissed when I was with that younger woman. | |
