I would date a woman as old as 50 as long as she didn't look like she was 50. I think that age is just a number
You can't be serious..... 
How the hell can you justify your comment?
In other words...you'll date older women (short term) but, as soon as she starts to show signs of aging and her looks/body may not be as appealing as when you first met.... you would run
You're a prized possession. (sarcasm)
Realistically speaking... it's guys like you that make me feel justified in my way of thinking.
But... anyways... it's just me... I have the attitude problem - lol. | |

Then again I know of some great, beautiful and absolutely stunning 40 year olds too, theonly issue in terms of potential mate, is I want to have my kids one day (god willing) and most of the women I observe and know whether they are younger or older just don't want any kids, so who cares really about the age (within reason), it's about the fit of two people comming together as one. | |

Posted: 6/28/2007 7:27:36 PM | I've been involved 10 years younger (well, technically 9 years 51 weeks LOL), as well as 9 years older. I'm still open to older but the reality is that I'm now reluctant to get involved with men under 30 just because i think turning 30 is a major life stage for many people. Plus, the thing with younger guys is that I don't want to have kids and most men younger than me do whereas often men in their 30s and 40s either have kids already or already have decided that they don't want any.
I rarely say never but I'm certainly more wary and need a lot more persuasion and takes a lot more effort for me to consider a younger man. | |

I was about 10 or 11 at the time but I remember my father not being too impressed with him, to put it mildly. I think for Margaret Trudeau it was pretty much a disaster.
For me, someone 46, 47, 48, 49, 50 seems about right. We would have a lot more in common. It's not a rule with me, but I do tend to stick around and read the profile once I see one of those ages.
I think my settings allow any age/gender to contact me. That's because of the meet and greets. I host euchre so it only makes sense. | |

If an older woman hooks up with a younger man, there may be issues that can not be rectified. For example if the man is just starting to establish himself, wants to get married and start a family there maybe insurmountable issues if the older woman is past the breeding stage, has no interest in starting with children (at a more mature age) and is more concerned with getting her affairs in order and readying for retirement. I would suggest the connection would be only sexually based. | |

That's my way of thinking...in a long term sense... I don't thnk many are thinking or even wanting something long term with such a relationship.... for the most part.
I think outside of the box while many have a tendency to focus on the inside of the box

At my age I'm past the age of child bearing, nor do I have the interest. Plus on the other side of the coin I don't want anyone too old for me either, that reminds me of someone's father.

I ended up moving in with her and we lived together for 3 or 4 years .But without a doubt she taught me well, that is probably why growing up I never had too many one night stands.I learned from an early age that once i got a women into bed she would want more than once. So I do not see a problem with it just some have extra advantages. | |

As it's been stated it's not the age but the maturity level that counts. As to kids that's a subject among many others that needs to be discussed if the relationship is heading for long term.
For myself personally I've dated younger men for almost 20 years now. I've had somc very long term relationships with younger men up to 17 yrs junior my age at the time. I've also had some short term relationships but none were ever just based on the sex. At the moment I'm currently talking with a younger man 20 years younger than myself but has the maturity of someone much older.
Now a days I see a lot of younger men interested only for the sexual aspect of being with an older woman.
As to why that is, only the men can really answer that question.. so I put to the younger men.. why is the interest in us mature ladies so fascinating to you all? | |
