But we have at least 3 draft picks on that line and quickness in the secondary. It can be a VERY bad day for Tech if they can't control the line of scrimmage. HOOK "EM HORNS!! | |

i never said i don't support the longhorns. i just don't think they are the best team. USC is much better and i think Virginia Tech is a little better than them. Hey, 1 play in the Ohio State game, and you could be out of the picture right now.

Funny you mention the whole "what if" argument that always falls flat on its face cuz there are infinite "what ifs" that one could consider. Like these: USC was also one play away from being out of the championship game and Penn State was one play away from being legitimate. if VT beats the Hurricanes, then perhaps they'll be up to the Longhorns. Even beating BC won't get them the BCS points that the Longhorns would receive if they beat Texas Tech. Right now, VT is the odd man out. Remember, this Texas team was supposed to have won at least one title by now, but they underachieved. The talent is there, now the pieces are simply clicking. HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!! | |

hey i have a #80 texas jersey. i'm not a hater! just don't think they are as good as USC.
penn state is back. should end this season as a top 10 team and start next season in the top 5. lots of talented freshmen.

i actually missed the game. my daughter had a basketball game and then we attended a hockey game. big win, no dought, but still don't believe they can beat USC. big 12 is way down this year. but, enjoy the win. | |

The TV contracts are just way too lucrative for the media to let in a small market school. Hell, UTA has more undergrads the VA tech has students...so just consider the fan base...its a no-brainer and a damn shame. I would love to watch Young and the longhorns get stooped by VA tech! | |
