Posted: 11/17/2005 2:24:46 AM | Really, what does it matter what type of car someone drives if it gets them where they have to go? Hey, there are people out there who could afford new or flashy vehicles and don't buy them simply because they don't want the payment book to go along with it. I myself drive an 03 Corolla. I didn't buy it because I wanted a new car. I bought it because the 93 sunbird I had before wouldn't go from point A to B anymore without leaving me on the side of the road. If I were any good at mechanics I would still be driving that car. If I ask someone what they drive its either because I'm waiting on them somewhere or I want to get to know their personal perference on taste. Not because I want to know the size of their wallet.  | |

I think they look "cool"..... but
I would not want to own one....
it sends out "look at me" image
and I would not date someone
who drove one either....
cuz he likely bought it to make
up for some physical shortcoming....
and I dont think I would have
much in common with someone who drove a
"look at me" type car.
I like someone to have a car that runs....
it should be in good mechanical condition and be clean
otherwise I don't care mucha about a car....
but I am repelled by those who drive
"image" or "status" type cars.... | |

No self respecting woman would ever ride in a vehicle like that.
I have become more aware of the bumper stickers and license plates, then the year, make, and model of the vehicles guys drive. | |

For example
Ferrari = doesn’t mind expensive and high maintenance if she can perform and look great
BMW = Wants something stylish on the outside but frisky in the inside
Benz = Wants something stylish on the outside and a comfortable ride
Pocket Rockets = Wants performance but not good with money
Subaru/Volvo = Too safe .. too cerebral
Hummer = Small Penis

I ride a scooter. Kinda a retro-style one with lotsa chrome'n'curves.
Go ahead. Judge me by it. I'm fine with that. Means I'm urban, economical, practical, fun, and come alive in the sunshine. Ha.
But I'd generally rather a guy with a practical car than an expensive/flashy one. Means more substance, and generally fewer bills or image-hungry needs. But then, I don't like guys with high-end careers who are workaholics, either, so maybe there's a correlation there. :P | |

Whatever is fine, although personally I have to confess I would think oh cool- yippee - if he has a 4-wheel drives and all terrain vehicles cause it means we can go OUTDOORS n all that fun stuff - ..but I wouldnt date or NOT date someone just because of their car
Then that being said, if he did drive up in a bright pink, tinted and mirrored pimp-mobile with disco balls and flashing lights, I might think twice....
Point to note: If anything, I think the people who judge men most by their cars are actually other men !! | |
