Jack Roush was BS because the 24 took 2 tires on the last pit stop, and Martin took 4 and couldn't catch him. You should have heard Jack on the scanner cussing and swearing. That was when I became 100% anti-Roush.....And, no....After Nascar investigation, nothing was found. People I have talked to have said that if it was happening the stuff they use to soak is so strong smelling that everybody in the garage aarea would know. Cat-in-the-hat was just crying.....

Posted: 11/8/2005 6:58:55 AM | | Normally I'd be pulling for Mark Martin in this "Race for Space" or whatever they call it. He's about the only real old time driver left. But Sunday at that perfectly awful Texas track, he moved over every time another driver came up on him. Fireball would have put some asses over the wall rather than be passed. Where are all the real men who made NASCAR great? Now they're all dressed up in their little Crayola driver suits. A driver suit should have the driver's name and maybe car number on it. It shouldn't look like something Ronald McDonald just discarded. And the sponsor's name should be on the rear fender only. And oh, by the way, you should be able to look at a Chevy and know its a Chevy. God I miss the days of real drivers and real cars. OK, I'm getting off of HighGear's soapbox now. Hope he lands with a good organization. Rumor has it he'll be driving the #43 for Petty in the near future. Good owner, poor team. Maybe a driver with his talent will make it a better team. God Bless silly season.

I also heard that Bobby looks to be going to the 43. Just maybe, with Loomis bringing some of his knowledge that he aquired with Hendricks and a driver like Bobby, the Petty organization will put a worthy car out there again.
Smoke may get all Gibbs attention this year for obvious reasons, but I'd keep my eye on Denny Hamlin. Sinjia, informed me of his past experience, and you can see it already in the few Cup races he's run....

And hey hon, better be careful, Ol Carl Edwards is looking pretty darn good here the past few weeks! Closing the gap in a big way. I still think Tony is points racing, always knowing where Jimmy is. I think he should get back into race mode before he slips up!

Posted: 11/11/2005 4:17:22 AM | Tony is DEFINITELY da man!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been a fan of his sense he started racing and sorry Sinjia, if Jeff Gordan was the last driver on the track, I still wouldn't root for him. The only time I like Gordan is when he smacks into the wall. LOLLLLLLLLLL
Nobody but Joe Gibbs racing for this girl. Afterall, I'm a hapless Washington Redskins fan, so I gotta stick with Joe and Tony.
Thanks for the welcome to the boards. Wish I would have found this site at the beginning of the season, but better late than never.
