Posted: 11/13/2005 9:09:22 PM | Wow, a lot went on the past two days. As far as Sissy goes, he was drunk and disorderly. Just cause a breathalizer machine "didnt" work. Come on, who are they kidding. It worked... And Crown Royal was the main reason he was let go early. He was their poster boy spokesman for NOT drinking and driving... a real stand up guy!!! Good for Jack Roush for doing the right thing. Wish Herman would have had better luck in the 97 car ... but for the first time in the seat, not bad.
Now as for Patti... dear, call your tattoo shop and make your appointment for next November! Cause it will happen...
RaceChik... now sit down when you read this dear... I must concede that Johnson and Edwards will only have a chance next week at Homestead if Tony would crash early on in the race. Now even I dont wish him bad luck like that... so I think this is going to be Tony's Championship... unless my voodoo doll and remote control car shows me anything... LOL

Sinjia....I see Racechick went and recruited some friends to battle against you while I was gone....LOL! Now I've been in a place without cable TV since last Wednesday, but my sister called me last night and mentioned a little something about Jr. and a 40th place finish was it??? Where is Sexymama?? Now I was just sitting here doing very quick math, but even if Jr. wins the last race, I think if Jeff finishes 31st or better, Sexy has a little modeling to do for us!!

Almost like Sissy Busch. Did you hear about him??? He is totally gone from Roush. I just wonder what will happen in New York this year? Will he show up for his 10th place points finish now that he is out. Jeremy should easily pass him and maybe already did.

Posted: 11/14/2005 2:40:15 PM | Usually, 52 points is a pretty comfortable lead, but Jimmie Johnson is one of the few drivers who is dangerous enough to go out and lead the most laps at Homestead. If that happens, Stewart will still have to finish eighth.

just think of how much fun the party will be after Tony wins the cup. and the best part will be rubbing it into all these 24 and 48 fans faces. i am sure that Tony will have someone looking out for him, he has earned the respect of the other drivers. yes, Tony was not always the nicest guy on the track, but there is no doubt that this guy is driven. most drivers did not understand Tony, hell how many drivers liked Dale Earnhardt when he first started running nascar. they all learned to respect him though. Homestead isnt a very good place to go three wide either. For some reason, I think Tony is arrogant enough to try and win this race and the Championship... if he does, he will wreck. Ok ok ok ok... so hoping.
Just remember, 52 points isnt a very big lead. If Tony finished 9th or worse and Jimmy wins, Jimmy gets the Championship... but this is all foreplay... LOL Cause ol Carl and Greg are back there too... and tho they are Roush drivers, they might make it if both Tony and Jimmy fail.
I think Gordon will win the race! Tony will win the Championship and Jimmy will end up in 3rd.
Those are just my predictions... LMAO

Posted: 11/15/2005 6:23:42 AM | NHGUY - i wouldn't expect a gordon fan to understand Tony's climb to success. Gordon has pretty much been handed everything he has. He was made the posterboy for nascar, and you were told, you gotta love him. Well, i don't. Never did. I like the guy who works for his money. Stewart has been to hell and back, but as i keep saying, along the way he has earned everyones respect. Yes, there are still the Hendricks girls, who cry whenever they don't win, but it's never their fault. THAT, I can't respect. Just because you are given the best equipment, doesn't always mean you're going to win. "Sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you". Let's face it, if not for a blown tire a few weeks back, this chase is already OVER.
Wouldn't it be great if, in an attempt to take out Stewart, Gordon wiped out Johnson!!!!
What a catfight that would be. They would be pulling each others hair and scratching each others eyes out. Hell, that may even be grounds for divorce! | |

The guy has been racing something since he was 4 years old, and did extremely well in everything he raced. "Gordon was made the posterboy for Nascar"? Again.....Of course he was! Kind of exactly what Dale Jr. is now!! It's all about bringing recognition to Nascar and that means "Money"!
Has everyone forgotten that Bobby Labonte was brought in to WC at the same time as Jeff? Bobby won one championship. Then Tony won one championship. So I guess JGR is no slouch organization either. The bottom line is though that since Jeff came to Hendricks they have won 5 champioships! Again....Are people forgetting Terry Labonte, who won in 96?, Or Jimmie Johnson only being 8 points shy of winning a year ago?
So, I guess as a fan, if you hate a guy like Jeff Gordon due to his success, then you have to hate maybe Carl Edwards too......Rousch Racing has how many of its cars in the chase this year?? Again, money!! Will Carl win the championship in his 2nd year? Probably not. (Although anyone but Tony!). So again that bring me back to natural tallent....Every driver I just mentioned has it! Even Tony. (Hate to admit that). Bottom line....Jeff has always had just a little bit more than most......Dale Sr. saw that, and named him "Boy Wonder".
I have never once heard Tony get out of his car and congratulate another driver. I know I heard Jeff congratulate Edwards 2 races ago, and I know it wasn't the 1st time.
So I guess everybody can hate Jeff for his success, but to say that it has happened because he was handed everything.......I just have to disagree....
