Posted: 10/6/2005 12:43:37 PM | Alarm~ have you ever read Jr.'s book~~"8"? It is very good and it talks about Tony and Jr'.s friendship in there. After reading that book I found I respected Jr. a lot more for the type of person he is on and off of the race track!

Do you really think that I think Nascar fans are inbred? I doubt there are more than a couple people in the US that are truly inbred, so since Nascar's popular with millions of people, all of their fans couldn't be inbred, now, could they?
It kinda takes the humor out of a joke when you have to explain it in detail.
If you can't laugh at yourself occasionally, you really don't have much of a sense of humor. | |

I just think that Smoke is better than everyone else this year.

Posted: 10/9/2005 10:14:25 AM | Alarm~~I've been gone for a while so I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you~~that book I think came out in 98' but I'm not sure. It was an awesome book and I highly recommend it to everyone whehter they are a Jr. fan or not! It gives you a lot of insight into the kind of person he is and I found it very interesting. If you can't find it where you are I'm sure you can find it on ebay or at Nascar.com. It's worth the time to track it down!!
I missed out on the last of the arguments with Mrdiscreet but you all handled him well! My uncle is in a coma in Louisville, Ky. and I have to keep the phone lines open so I can't get on here! Dial-up sucks!! I may not get a chance to watch much of the race today so will everyone feed me the details later?? Thanks!

Having a 75 point lead at this point, its going to be hard. I dont think Newman has a chance. Great qualifier, just not a good overall race time guy. Keep an eye on Kenseth and Biffle! Even I would rather see.... dang it Racechik... cant even say it aloud, but you know what I mean.... I'd rather see the Home Depot car win the entire thing rather than a Rousch car. So I guess its GO Mayfield, Newman, Johnson, Wallace and yea, that last other guy...

It was nice to see Martin win! He's still my sentimental favorite! And Tony did come in fourth so that's not bad......he's gonna take it Sinjia....sorry! He deserves it!! He's the best out there this season. Forget the whole mulligan!!!! It ain't happening!!
You're right about Newman....great qualifier but can't hold it together long enough to win races.

JOHNSON A GOOD DRIVER? WHAT RACE WERE YOU WATCHING?
Lets see,
1) in 2002 he won 3 races and 5 poles, avg finish was 13th
2) in 2003 he won 3 races and finished 2nd in points, avg finish was 11th
3) in 2004 he won 8 races and finished 2nd in points, avg finish was 12th
4) so far in 2005 he's won 3 races and the next 3 tracks he won at last year, avg finish is 12th
In my opinion that is a damn good driver.... | |
