Lookie at Truex and Bowyer!! Juan Race Car Driver should do really well today. He'll move up....
Biffle being in the there makes me scratch my head.... how the hell....LOL!! Ya know I love my Biff, but I don't think he's gonna make it til the end.
Mears and Labonte are too inconsistant, in my book. I worry about Newman as well. He's so hot and cold this year.
I'd love to see McMurray pull a couple nice races out of the year too.

Montoya seems to be making a name for himself but he also is making a few enemies as well. AND, how much has he cost his team in rebuilding all the cars he's crashed?!? lol
Hard to watch Super G spin out in the end. I don't know what he said about that 'cause I have no t.v. coverage ~ Anyone hear what made him spin? Fatigue? Loss of control due to air?
Would someone please post the end of the race? Thanks! AND the standings as they are now? Double thanks!
Super G and Smoke are pulling out all the wins lately. One could bet on either one from week to week and pull in some dough. Wassup with 'dat?! Where is Jr. and why hasn't he won anything as of late..... VERY late?

No fines planned for Harvick-Montoya: On the first turn after a restart [lap 72 at Watkins Glen on Sunday], #1-Martin Truex Jr. got into the back of #42-Juan Montoya, who climbed the track and got into the side of #29-Kevin Harvick to send both into a spin. As Montoya's car came to a rest, Harvick drove the front of his car to block him from continuing to the garage. I have a little respect for the guy. Well, I used to have a little respect for the guy like that, because he helped me out a lot to start with." For the record, neither is expected to be fined. "I don't think they were fighting," said Robin Pemberton, NASCAR's vice president of competition. "They were discussing things." Said series director John Darby, "I thought it was cool as hell."

Posted: 8/14/2007 12:02:25 AM | | Looks like Dale Jr will need lots of things to go right for him for the rest of the races he`s been running good in most races top 5-10 then something seems to happen four engines gone so far can`t get any worse than that,I think JG will win but possible Denny #11 car others that could Jeff B #31 or Kenseth #17 Truex Jr is still hanging in there,JPM gave Truex Jr not much of a choice at the Glen JPM blocked Truex Jr from center left to the right gave Truex Jr no choice but to get in the back of him,I`m sure not long ago Smoke said JPM was getting into others every race , JPM banged up two cars this week in both Busch & Cup . | |

I agree with you Av, Juan Race Car Driver's actions prevented Truex from making a clean pass and that's when he tapped his back end. Sounds like a JPM move..... he didn't have a leg to stand on with regard to getting pissed off!
He's a hot head behind the wheel and has little respect for how his actions affect other drivers. That's dangerous but makes for some great action!
Anyone got the final standings for the race and the points as they stand now?
I too think Super G will win, but I'd love to see my Hammie pull out a few more points and make it interesting. And Biff always seems to pull out a Homestead win, so of course I'm looking forward to that.....  | |

Super G has some hot competition for the finals races here... it's getting to crunch time and with three races to go after this rain delay it'll be great to finally start the Chase!!
Does anyone think Super G will be beat? Does anyone have a chance in hell?

I too am surprised by Clint Bowyer, but more so by the horrid driving of Kasey Kahne this year! Yeah, my Biff has been a big disappointment, but he's been consistently pulling in points, where as Kasey can't seem to stay away from PARKED cars this year.
And my condolences go out to MW..... yes, I'm thinking of retiring my MW Stadium Chair this year.... I figure if the man ain't drivin', I ain't sittin'......
I missed the race today, but MagE told me Biff spun out with two laps to go.... hit the wall? And one of the Busch sisters took the race....??? ugh
C'mon HAMLIN~ Only a few to go and momma's gettin' worried!!!

Truex Jr has run good lately just staying ahead of the blue #2 I still hope Jr can finish with a good run for the final three to the chase,the #2 and #20 have both had good runs the past few races I think the race at The Glen when Jr`s engine went made it a up hill battle for him for the chase,I will still have hope but know it will be tough for Jr man he is trying so hard , I hope luck goes his way for the rest of the season but look forward to next season in the # which ever Jr will be in , I think it`s Gordon`s to lose he is running well just has to maintain top 5- top 10 and he will get his championship. | |
