Posted: 9/6/2007 12:18:29 PM | Personally, I started pulling for Biffle because I watched him on the track and then started following him off, got some information about how he conducts his business outside of Nascar and that was it for me. Any guy that puts a good amount of time and effort into an organization to help animals is #1 in my book!
Hamlin caught me eye strictly as a driver. Rookie made me go hmmmmmmmm.....!!
I'm upset about Biff not making it to the Chase, but happy for my Ham.
As a chick, I've never been into the cutsie drivers like Kahne or Harvick. Looks mean nothing to me when it comes to driving. "DRIVE THE BEOTCH" is how I look at it. I don't care if you speak with a lisp (MW) or look like a 12 year old boy (Kahne)..... JUST DRIVE!

Off and ON THE TRACK is what I meant. What happened there?
OK, I also like following that new Nascar show on t.v. on Wednesday nights.
Last night they had spotlights on Sauter, Smoke and Harvick. Sauter's fiance is a pain in the ass, isn't she?
The show is kind of middle of the road, watch it if you don't really know anything about racing and don't want to learn anything new, but it's a different glimpse into some of the lives of the drivers.

ESPN sucked. I can't STAND their commentators. Truly a bunch of yahoos that couldn't narrate a freakin' Dr. Suess book!!
But no more. Now we'll get back to some actual comments that make some sense to the rest of the world. No more inside ESPN jokes or stupid "one upmanship" crap going on. God those guys made me sick.

Last one before the chase is on Dale Jr has a longshot chance but very hard task but you never know RCR car Harvick they decided to use the R07 engine which some teams have had problems with this season one of Jr`s engines that went was a R07 .
Smoke had problem with R07 engine as well, I think smokes was throttle cable on that engine . | |

What a shame that Jr. is going out without a win and his fans are now gonna have to make a little more money just to fix their tattoos, their cars, their license plates, their clothes, their flags.... lol
I really wish he had pulled it out in the end, but I don't see it happening this weekend. The odds are stacked against him BUT..... with all the changes discussed about the engines, he just might have a chance.

Posted: 9/9/2007 9:24:44 AM | I think it will come down to the HMS vs JGR teams for the cup, JJ has the advantage but anything could happen RCR cars have been steady but the best of the COT have been the HMS team and Gibb cars with RCR cars close ,RCR got all 3 of his cars in the chase, I think Kurt B will fade after the three top teams go forward Truex Jr will hang in there been pretty steady up to now usually keeps himself in top 10 to 15 .
I think it will come down to Smoke JJ and Jeff G at the end. | |

Congrats to all in the Chase. Sad for Jr. and his fans, but maybe they can build him an engine now that he's away from DEI that he won't destroy.....
I was at the Indy race yesterday and was bored. Not knowing enough about the cars, the teams, the specs of the race... I now understand why some don't understand Nascar and why we love it so much. You really have to KNOW what's going on!!
Not sure I want to be filled in on Indy though.... maybe F1..... but I digress....
I think JJ will go all the way, but I know Smoke and SuperG will give him a fight for his money. Proud of Truex and can't wait to see these boyz race around the 12..... | |
