| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/10/2007 7:24:14 PM |
I was at the Indy race yesterday and was bored. Not knowing enough about the cars, the teams, the specs of the race... I now understand why some don't understand Nascar and why we love it so much. You really have to KNOW what's going on!!
BORED??? BORED???
When a championship goes down to the final lap with the two title contenders running 1st and 2nd how can anyone that has a pulse be bored???
Maybe they need a redneck announcer screaming boogity boogity boogity for those who can't cope with real racing and not the made for TV BS of NAPCAR

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/10/2007 7:34:39 PM | | Hey Hoss give the lady a break at least she gave it a shot and went to the race if you read her full statement she`s not totaly familiar with IRL racing I watched that race on tv but if that race got you all excited you got to get out more dude,I think it will come down to Smoke,JJ,JG but Denny and Truex Jr will hang in there good to see Truex Jr make it to the chase. | |

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/10/2007 8:08:15 PM | I have probably been trackside at more major racing series then you can shake a stick at.
Formula One, ALMS, IMSA, CSRA, Speed World Challenge, AMA MX, CMRC MX, FIM GP MX,World of Outlaws.
And I'm talking credentialed photographer trackside, not in the stands.
Plus I raced motorcycles for a dozen years. Think I know what makes an exciting race.

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/10/2007 8:54:35 PM | Boss...Boss...Boss... Like avril57 said Cut the lady some slack.... Give her an "A" for trying to learn more about the sport of motor racing and not just NASCAR. why don't you try to help her out and explane more to her instead of trying to tell us what you can do.
Hell dude if they raced lawnmowers I would find that exciting...... At least she's learning........ do they race lawnmowers???????...... damn I want one!!!!!
Oh and I've been trackside at alot of races as well.... all kinds of racing.... bikes as well. I race dirt bikes and when I was a young man I raced Atlatic cars.
Shake a stick at

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/11/2007 4:44:15 AM | Jimmie Johnson might be leading the Chase, but that doesn't mean it's a given he will do well
In a world of subtlety and nuance, where we would not dare state the obvious for fear of offending the sensibilities of those with backbones weaker than our own, it's refreshing when you're presented with the plain and simple truth. Tony Stewart gave us just that following the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 on Saturday night at Richmond International Raceway.
Tony was asked a question about the value of momentum for drivers and teams going into the Chase. Here's how he broke it down. "You guys call it momentum. I call it just how is your performance right now at this point," Stewart said. "You know, the teams that are running the best right now are the teams that have a shot at winning the championship. You can call it whatever you want to call it, but it's still a matter of performance at the end of the day. It's still a sport that's a week-to-week sport and anything can happen."

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/11/2007 10:57:43 AM | A belt sander is a machine used to quickly sand down wood and other materials for finishing purposes. It consists of an electrical motor that turns a pair of drums on which a seamless loop of sandpaper is mounted. Belt sanders can be either hand-held, where the sander is moved over the material, or stationary (fixed), where the material is moved to the sanding belt. Stationary belt sanders are sometimes mounted on a work bench, in which case they are called bench sanders. Stationary belt sanders are often combined with a disc sander.

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/11/2007 1:37:29 PM | They race these...why? And, how?
I would think they'd be afraid of sanding off their gears shift, or something

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/11/2007 4:38:52 PM | No can do Kewl Beans..... but that tattoo comment is priceless!!
OT: I think JJ has the best chance, but Smoke seems to come out of hard situations smelling like a can of new oil, so who knows.....
I sure would love my Hamlin to take the win, but this Chase is going to prove to be an exciting one for him, JJ, Smoke and SuperG.....
I'll be rootin' on my Hammie.... but seems everytime I do JJ, Smoke or Super Grover take the win.... maybe I should just root for Harvick.....
NAW!!!! | |

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/11/2007 6:35:37 PM | Where are all Roush Fans out there? Kenseth and Edwards have just as good of a chance to win this Championship as Jimmy, Jeffy, or Tony...Denny I think would be the next best to Kenseth, Happy would be a decent third | |

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/11/2007 8:01:07 PM | #17 Matt even said on tv that it will most likely come to the top three most think they are that being JJ,Smoke, JG. I would like to see Denny or Truex Jr or even the #07 but most have there money on the top three , with five of the races being COT races the best of the COT have been HMS,JGR ,RCR,DEI. But I would`nt count out the #31 he`s been quietly sticking up near the top 5-10 in most races . | |

| Nascar Chase - Who will Win Posted: 9/12/2007 5:38:46 AM | Space, I'm not a fan of the owners, but BIFFLE has and always will be my first driver! Though this year will be his last with the team...
I don't understand rooting for a team. Maybe if you like all the drivers, but golly, these days everyone is moving around so fast I can't keep 'em all straight!!!
Next year will prove to be interesting with so many powerhouses filled with great talent.... And Jr. out on his own...
Maybe someone will surprise us all Space... you never know when someone from the pack will come out victorious! This last chunk of racing is THE BEST, in my opinion.... because it's serious 'balls to the wall' driving!!
